# Classic Tracs
**Classic Tracs** is a music player addon for World of Warcraft TBC that lets you play any Classic WoW music track anywhere in the game. Listen to Alliance music in Horde cities, or Horde music in Alliance zones - your choice!

## Installation
1. Download the addon
2. Extract the `ClassicTracs` folder to your `World of Warcraft\_classic_\Interface\AddOns\` directory
3. Restart WoW or type `/reload`
4. Look for the flute icon button on your screen - drag it to your minimap or preferred location
## How to Use
### Minimap Button Controls
- **Left-Click**: Toggle music on/off
- **Right-Click**: Open menu to browse factions, categories, and individual tracks
- **Middle-Click**: Skip to next track
- **Drag**: Move the button anywhere on screen
### Slash Commands
- `/music on` - Start playing music
- `/music off` - Stop playing music
- `/music next` - Skip to next track
- `/music list` - Show all available categories in chat
- `/music alliance` - Switch to Alliance music
- `/music horde` - Switch to Horde music
- `/music category <name>` - Change category (e.g. `/music category Cities`)
- `/music help` - Show command list
### Browsing Music
**Method 1: Using the Menu (Recommended)**
1. Right-click the minimap button
2. Select "Faction" to choose Alliance or Horde
3. Select "Category" to see all available categories
4. Hover over a category to see individual tracks
5. Click any track to play it immediately
**Method 2: Using Commands**
1. Type `/music list` to see all categories
2. Type `/music alliance` or `/music horde` to switch factions
3. Type `/music category Cities` (or any category name) to select a category
4. Type `/music on` to start playing
## Music Categories
### Alliance Music
- **Cities** (21 tracks) - Stormwind, Ironforge, Darnassus themes
- **Forests** (18 tracks) - Forest and enchanted forest music
- **Mountains** (7 tracks) - Mountain zone themes
- **Deserts** (12 tracks) - Desert and barren land music
- **Dark Zones** (17 tracks) - Haunted and evil zone themes
- **Taverns** (5 tracks) - Tavern and pirate music
- **Combat** (22 tracks) - Battle and PvP music
- **Raids** (29 tracks) - Raid boss and dungeon themes
- **Ambient** (67 tracks) - Miscellaneous atmospheric music
### Horde Music
Same categories as Alliance with Horde-specific city music (Orgrimmar, Thunder Bluff, Undercity) plus shared zone music.
## Tips
- **Automatic Looping**: Once enabled, tracks will play continuously. The addon automatically starts the next track when one finishes.
- **In Combat**: Music continues playing even during combat
- **Zone Changes**: Music keeps playing when you change zones
- **Game Music**: The addon automatically mutes the game's default music when enabled
## Troubleshooting
**Button not visible?**
- Type `/reload` to restart the addon
- The button appears at the center of your screen initially - drag it to your minimap
**No sound?**
- Make sure your sound is enabled in WoW settings
- Check that "Sound_EnableMusic" is not set to 0 in your WoW settings
- The addon uses the Ambience sound channel
**Music stops after zone change?**
- Type `/music on` to restart
- This shouldn't happen normally - if it persists, please report it
