Clairvoyant
Overview
PvP spell notification addon which combines incoming casted crowd controls and spells, outgoing casted crowd control spells and targets, and crowd control spells successfully casted on your party and their duration.
Objective
Inform you and your team exactly what is going on in the battle field. Know when your healer has been crowd controlled and for how long, know when anyone around you is crowd controlled, and try to give a warning to players who may be able to line of sight specific incoming spells.
Example
Clairvoyant will give all information gathered by the Combat Log and via Debuffs for the following spells, using SpellIDs and not localized spell names:
- Mana Burn
- Fear
- Howl Of Terror
- Suduction
- Polymorph
- Hibernate
- Cyclone
- Mind Control
- Hex
- Banish
Spells are listed with the player name who is casting them, their target (if available), the duration (if available) and a link to the spell being cast. Sending or suppressing messages below, playing sound, and if it should only report your incoming and outgoing spells are configurable in the Interface -> Addons Tab -> Clairvoyant options menu. Raid warnings are always given at this time.
Incomming
[Party]: EnemyName [Mind Control] (Plays Sound and in Raid Warning)
[Party]: EnemyName [Mind Control] - -> YourName (10s) (And in Raid Warning)
Outgoing
[Party]: * * * YourName [Cyclone] - -> EnemyName (And in Raid Warning)
Future
- Diminishing Returns bars and warnings on players to notify you and team members when your target is already under DR of that type.
- Better user notification of incoming spells, instead of just Raid Warnings.
Known Issues
This will use the range of the combat log. If you are in Warsong Gulch and someone begins to cast fear half way across the map, you will still get notifications and, if it succeeds, the duration of fear on the unlucky person it was cast on.
