Chorus

Every NPC speaks in their own voice.

Chorus adds voice-over to World of Warcraft quests. Key characters read the quest text in voices cloned from their in-game recordings: Lor'themar, Liadrin, Arator, Umbric, Orweyna, Zul'jarra and many more. Every other NPC gets a voice that matches their race and gender. Chorus reads the actual quest text, word for word, not a summary.

The voice-over is AI-generated and is not official Blizzard voice acting.

Voice packs

Chorus is the core add-on and contains no audio by itself. Install a voice pack for your language and expansion:

Voice packs are separate downloads, so you only install the languages and expansions you need.

Features

• Voiced quest accept, progress and turn-in text.
• Subtitles at the bottom of the screen; drag them anywhere.
• Playback queue with Stop and Next buttons. Several accepted quests are read in turn.
• Resumes from the phrase where it stopped.
• Books, letters and plaques are read aloud page by page (with the game's built-in text-to-speech for now; a voice pack is planned).
• Lines with no recording fall back to the game's built-in text-to-speech.

Getting started

Accept any quest covered by an installed voice pack, and the voice-over starts automatically. Settings: /chorus, or the button in the add-on compartment next to the minimap.

Found a wrong stress, a voice that doesn't fit, or a bug? Leave a comment or open an issue on GitHub. Please include the quest, the NPC and the word. Fixes go into the next voice pack release.

Chorus озвучивает задания World of Warcraft. Ключевые персонажи читают текст голосами, клонированными по их записям из игры: Лор'темар, Лиадрин, Аратор, Умбрий, Орвейна, Зул'джарра и многие другие. Остальные NPC говорят голосами своей расы и пола. Озвучивается дословный текст задания, а не пересказ.

Озвучка создана нейросетью и не является официальной озвучкой Blizzard.

Пакеты озвучки

Chorus — это ядро аддона, в нём самом звуков нет. Поставьте пакет озвучки для своего языка и дополнения:

Возможности

• Озвучка взятия, хода выполнения и сдачи заданий.
• Субтитры внизу экрана, их можно перетащить.
• Очередь с кнопками «Стоп» и «Далее»: несколько принятых заданий читаются по очереди.
• Чтение продолжается с той фразы, на которой остановилось.
• Книги, письма и таблички читаются вслух постранично (пока встроенным синтезом речи игры, пакет озвучки в планах).
• Если для реплики нет записи, её читает встроенный синтез речи игры.

Быстрый старт

Возьмите задание из установленного пакета, и озвучка начнётся сама. Настройки: /chorus или кнопка в меню аддонов у миникарты.
