Choose Your Numbers

Change the font, size and motion of your floating damage and healing numbers — and hear a sound when you land a big crit.

What it does

• Font of your numbers, with a preview on screen when you pick one:
  • the game's own fonts;
  • six fonts bundled with the addon: Oswald, Anton, Bangers, Bebas Neue, Lilita One and Russo One;
  • the fonts your other addons bring through LibSharedMedia (SharedMedia, ElvUI, Details and others).
• Size, gravity (rise, float or fall), time on screen and spread (straight up or arcing out to the sides).
• What shows up: damage, healing, periodic damage, shields you apply, pet damage, all auto-attacks.
• 8 ready-made styles in one click: Blizzard default, Impact, Subtle, Classic, Rain, Rocket, Magic and Giant.

Big crit sound

• Plays one of the game's own sounds when your target takes a critical hit at or above the amount you choose (0 to 5 million).
• Critical heals too (optional), a minimum interval so it never becomes noise, and "only when I'm solo".
• See my recent crits prints your average, biggest and smallest crit in the chat, to help you pick the amount.

Made for Midnight

It doesn't draw numbers of its own: it changes the game's own settings and the font of the game's own numbers. Your numbers keep working under Midnight's combat restrictions — your healing numbers included.

Good to know

• A new font applies after you log out to the character screen and log back in. A /reload is not enough: the game loads that font when the world loads. Size and motion apply right away.
• Color and number format (like "12.3K") can't be changed by any addon: the game engine draws the numbers.
• The crit sound listens to your target, and the game doesn't say who landed the hit: in a group, a teammate's crit on the same target counts too. Use "Only when I'm solo" if you want yours only.
• If another addon also sets the combat text font (ElvUI's combat font, for example), the last one to load wins.
• On Russian, Korean or Chinese clients, words like "Miss" or "Immune" may show as ??? with a Latin-only font; the numbers are always fine. Russo One covers Cyrillic.
• The big crit sound is off when you install: turn it on in the options.

How to use

/numbers (also /cyn) opens the options — or Esc > Options > AddOns > Choose Your Numbers, or the addon button by the minimap.
