ChichiWatch is a lightweight World of Warcraft addon that tracks any spell you choose and alerts you the moment it is ready to cast — with a dedicated on-screen icon, an optional proc-style glow, and an audio cue you can customize per spell.
No WeakAuras required. No class restriction. Add as many spells as you want.
What it does
- Unlimited spell trackers — Add any spell to the watchlist from the in-game settings. Each tracker has its own icon, position, size, and alert options.
- Ready-state glow — A Blizzard-style proc glow (similar to WeakAuras / ProcGlows) fires when a spell comes off cooldown and is usable.
- Sound alerts — Play a sound the moment a spell becomes ready. Choose from 38 built-in alert sounds or disable per spell.
- Repeat alerts — Optionally repeat the sound while a spell stays ready (configurable interval: 1–10 s).
- Draggable icons — Drag icons anywhere on screen; positions are saved per character.
- Per-spell icon size — Override the global icon size individually for any tracked spell (24–96 px).
- Cooldown display — Standard cooldown swipe and timer on each icon.
- Combat-only mode — Show icons and alerts only while in combat.
- Lock & reset — Lock icon positions to prevent accidental moves; reset all positions to a centered spread.
Who is it for?
ChichiWatch works for any class and any spec. Add the spells that matter most to your rotation or healing toolkit, configure each one independently, and let the addon handle the awareness.
Settings
Open the settings window via the minimap button, the slash commands below, or Esc → AddOns → ChichiWatch.
Global
- Enable / disable the addon
- Combat-only mode
- Lock icon positions
- Reset all positions
- Global icon size (24–96 px)
Per spell
- Show or hide the icon
- Enable glow when ready
- Enable sound when ready
- Alert sound (with test button)
- Repeat sound while ready + repeat interval
- Custom icon size (overrides the global setting)

Included sounds
38 alert sounds ship with the addon: bells, pings, sonar tones, dings, refresh sounds, voice clips, and more. Each spell can use a different sound, or none at all.

Notes
- Settings cannot be opened during combat lockdown; use
/chichiwhen out of combat. - Settings are stored in
ChichiWatchDB(saved variables). - Former GroveWatch users: your saved data (Wild Growth / Swiftmend) is migrated automatically on first load.
