Internal addon name: ChayLFGRegions
It is a standalone WoW addon for Retail/Midnight that adds region controls directly to the Blizzard Premade Group Finder.
Features
- Adds checkboxes to the LFG search window for:
- US
- OCE
- LATAM
- BR
- Other
- Each region can be independently shown or hidden.
- Optional Sort checkbox groups listings by region.
- Controls are positioned in their own area so they do not overlap the normal LFG controls or results.
- Settings are saved between sessions.
Compatibility
It does not require:
- GroupfinderFlags
- PremadeGroupsFilter
It can run by itself.
It can also be installed alongside either or both of those addons without replacing them.
Update safety
ChayLFGRegions is completely separate from the other addons:
- does not modify their files
- does not use their SavedVariables
- does not depend on their code
- updates to those addons should not overwrite ChayLFGRegions
Its own settings use:
ChayLFGRegionsDB
Midnight handling
The addon includes guards for restricted/secret LFG information. If a result cannot safely be classified, it goes into Other rather than causing an error or trying to read restricted data.
For that reason, leaving Other enabled is recommended.
