What's new
ChatSpamRadar (CSR) Version 1.0.08 Changelog
New Features & Enhancements
Mute a Blocked Friend's Public Spam: Manually blocking a friend, Battle.net contact, or VIP now hides their messages across all numbered chat channels Trade, Services, General, LookingForGroup, and any custom channel. Previously, blocking a protected contact did nothing to their chat: the block appeared in your Blocked list but their spam kept coming, even after a reload. Your personal and group comms stay fully open whispers/DMs, /say, /yell, party, raid, instance, and guild chat are all unchanged, so you can silence someone's public broadcasts without cutting personal ties. Works in every game language, since it keys on the channel type rather than a translated name.
Cleaner Trade/Whisper Safe-List Leads: When you trade someone (and the auto-whisper fires), the resulting In Progress lead now shows the person's class-colored name and fills the message column with the whisper text as a placeholder. Previously these leads appeared with a plain, uncolored name and an empty message, so they looked half-finished next to every other entry. Safe-listing behavior is unchanged, trading/whispering someone still lifts any block, clears quarantine, and marks them protected.
Bug Fixes & Technical Stability
- Blocklist Tab No Longer Stutters on Large Lists: The Blocklist now draws from a small pool of recycled rows (about 18) instead of creating a live frame for every entry. On big lists this previously spawned thousands of frames (~2,700 in testing), causing noticeable scroll/open stutter. The tab now stays smooth no matter how large your blocklist grows.
