# Caster Goggles
**One free addon instead of twenty.** Boss warnings, a damage meter, upgrade tips, mouseover healing, a golden waypoint arrow and smart auction tools, all in one window with simple on/off switches. No chat commands needed.
## Relaxed or Everything
The first time you log in, Goggles asks how you play:
- **Relaxed**: just the essentials. Perfect if you are new to WoW, or just want to enjoy the world.
- **Everything**: every tool, for players who know their caps by heart.
Both have everything working. It only changes what you see, and you can switch any time in Settings.
## What it does
### Fighting
- **Boss timer bars**, learned from real fights.
- **Warnings** in the middle of your screen before a boss ability: "Flame Breath in 3, 2, 1".
- **"Move!"** when you stand in fire.
- **Damage meter**: damage, healing, damage taken, deaths with the last hits, and threat. Report the top 5 to your group with one click.
### Healing and buffs
- Hover a party frame and press your heal: it lands on them, even with an enemy targeted. Works by itself; switch it off in Settings.
### Gear
- Every item tooltip tells you how much better or worse it is for **your** spec: "+12% upgrade".
- Green arrows on upgrades in your bags.
- Your hit and expertise caps, and the best reforges for your gear (one click per item at the Reforger).
### Trading
- Open the auction house and Goggles scans it. The **Trader** opens next to it:
- **Best for me**: upgrades you can buy right now.
- **Buy cheap**: items far below their usual price.
- **Sell bags**: sell for a profit, never below what you paid.
- **My auctions**: see who undercut you.
- Crafting profit, sales history and a watchlist (in *Everything*).
- You always click to buy or sell yourself. Goggles never trades on its own.
### Travel and gathering
- Herbs, ore and chests you find show on your world map and minimap.
- **Click an icon and the golden arrow takes you there.** Or use "Guide me" to go to the nearest one, and the next, and the next.
- `/way 45.2 63.1` works too, and you can paste a whole route.
### Your characters
- Gold and items of all your characters, in every tooltip ("Akman: 20, bank 5") and in one tab, with a search box.
## Getting started
1. Install, log in, and pick **Relaxed** or **Everything**.
2. Click the round **Goggles button** at your minimap to open the window.
3. Every tab has its buttons at the bottom. The tab **How it works** explains everything.
4. Turn any part on or off in the tab **Settings**.
## Good to know
- Boss timers learn from fights: the first time a boss is new to Goggles, the warnings come from what it learns.
- The bank is remembered after you open it once on each character.
- The auction house can be scanned once every 15 minutes (a rule of the game).
- Goggles works for MoP Classic. **WoW: Forever** support follows after launch.
## Privacy
Goggles never sends anything over the internet by itself. If you choose to help the community map and price history, only game information is shared: prices and where herbs and ore are. **Never names.** It is off unless you say yes.
