Project name

Carantina -EP-GP

Summary

EPGP standings and reliable Master Looter loot distribution for World of Warcraft Classic and Burning Crusade Classic.

Description

Carantina -EP-GP is a derivative and actively maintained version of Classic EPGP for World of Warcraft Classic and Burning Crusade Classic.
It manages guild EP/GP standings through Officer Notes and provides a reliable Master Looter response workflow for raid loot distribution. The addon supports both single-item response windows and multi-item batch distribution.

Features

Manage guild EP, GP, priority, decay, standby EP, and rank exclusions.
Distribute loot through a single-item response window or a multi-item batch window.
Keep loot responses private between raiders and the Master Looter.
Record the Master Looter’s own response locally so it appears immediately in the response list.
Render response labels immediately, even when item information is not yet cached.
Handle late or out-of-order batch labels and item metadata without losing response rows.
Provide response acknowledgements, traffic logs, item tooltips, GP calculations, and class usability checks.
Include a safe local Test Mode that does not send real raid addon traffic or modify guild Officer Notes.
Include lightweight performance diagnostics and a stale batch reset command.

Requirements

Users must be able to view Officer Notes for the addon to read current EP/GP standings. Editing Officer Notes is required for users who award or modify EP/GP.
The Master Looter and all raiders who respond to loot should run the same Carantina -EP-GP release.

Compatibility and addon conflicts

This project includes separate Classic Era and Burning Crusade Classic TOC metadata. Select the matching supported game version for the WoW client branch you use.
Do not run Carantina -EP-GP together with another loot distribution addon that handles the same loot events, response windows, or EPGP loot whispers. Separate addons such as MultiRoll or EPGPLootmaster may create duplicate prompts or competing response traffic. Disable them while using Carantina -EP-GP.

Commands

/cep show — Show the main window.
/cep version — Check addon versions in the guild and raid.
/cep config — Open configuration.
/cep traffic — Open the traffic window.
/cep log — Open the communication/debug log.
/cep debugmode — Toggle debug output.
/cep perf — Show lightweight performance diagnostics.
/cep batch clear — Clear a stale batch session.
/cep test — Open the safe local test mode.

Installation

Install the project through the CurseForge App, or extract the release ZIP into the appropriate Interface/AddOns/ directory. The ZIP contains a top-level CEPGP folder.
When updating, replace only the Interface/AddOns/CEPGP folder. Do not delete WTF/.../SavedVariables/CEPGP.lua unless a complete data reset is intended. Back up SavedVariables before performing a full reset.

Credits and license

This project is a derivative of Classic EPGP by Alumian and GrumpyPlayers (also known as <SG>Soul). The original license is included unchanged with the addon and remains part of every redistribution. See LICENSE.txt for the applicable redistribution terms.

Changelog — 2.2.6

Fixed single-item response buttons being blocked by stale batch state.
Added a local Master Looter response path for single-item and batch windows.
Kept LootRsp response traffic private between raiders and the Master Looter.
Rendered response labels before item-cache callbacks complete.
Added protection for late and out-of-order batch labels and item fragments.
Improved queue coalescing, recipient-aware cleanup, and batch control-message priority.
Corrected debug output so item subclasses such as Bag are shown as information rather than errors.
