🔥 Campfire Chronicles
Azeroth is the picture. Campfire Chronicles names it and gets the rest of the screen out of the way. Part of the Nether addon family; works on its own, nothing else required.
🏞️ Zone cards
Arrive somewhere and its name fades in at the top of the screen over painted entrance art (993 places, Kalimdor included), with whose land it is: Horde, Alliance or Contested. The HUD fades and the camera moves in for a moment, then everything returns.
✨ Discoveries
The first time you find a place, its card says so, with the experience it gave and a soft chime. "Your travels" lists every place you have reached.
🏙️ Cities and quest hubs
The HUD fades while you are there. The minimap, names, tooltips and every NPC window stay; chat fades only while it is quiet. With NetherQuester, any spot where 3 or more quest givers stand counts as a hub.
💬 Quest conversations
Quest givers speak in a painted window (Horde, Alliance or Neutral) or a full-width cinematic bar, with the NPC's live portrait. Words type out page by page, rewards show on their own bar. Space moves on, 1-9 picks, Esc says goodbye.
🎮 Your key
One key hides the UI or brings it back (press, or hold to peek). With the UI hidden, a fight brings back only what it needs: your frame, your bars and your enemy's nameplate. A soft red pulse on the screen's edge shows where aggro came from.
🏕️ By the fire
Go AFK and the screen warms into a campfire scene with how long you've been away and a fireside thought. It never takes a key or a click and ends the moment you're back.
⚔️ Combat first
Nothing plays in combat. Your camera settings are only ever borrowed and always given back.
