Cadence CD Planner

Cadence: healer cooldown planner. Set cooldowns to exact timestamps, import from Lorrgs or MRT notes, and get voiced countdowns at the right moment. Per-boss plans, drag-to-retime timeline, BigWigs/DBM support.

Cadence is a timeline-driven healer cooldown planner for World of Warcraft raid play.

What it does

You build a plan before the pull: assign each healing cooldown to an exact timestamp, and Cadence fires on-screen countdown alerts at the right moment so you can focus on the fight instead of watching a clock.

Each alert counts down to the second, flashes NOW when the cooldown should go out, then fades. Multiple cooldowns stack vertically and shift up as each one expires. Nothing is ever dropped — if six cooldowns overlap, all six show.

The timeline

One row per ability, colour-coded, with the ability name down the left side. Each cue is drawn as a bar spanning the time it is visible on screen, so overlaps are immediately obvious. Drag a bar left or right to retime it. Drag a row name up or down to reorder. The timeline scrolls horizontally and vertically and redraws live as you resize the window.

Plans and importing

Plans are per-boss and per-difficulty. Cadence learns a boss's encounter ID the first time you pull it, then that boss is available in the dropdown forever.

Import from:

  • A Lorrgs timeline link or copied text
  • An MRT note paste
  • Any text with timestamps and spell names in it — Cadence works out the format automatically
  • A Cadence share string (CDNC1!…) exported from another player, which restores everything including boss-timer anchors

Export a share string to send your plan to a co-healer in one paste. Plans are tagged by difficulty and switch automatically at the pull.

Boss-timer anchors

In addition to pull-time cues, you can anchor a reminder to a BigWigs or DBM bar — it fires a set number of seconds before that specific cast, on the correct occurrence. Useful for reactive cooldowns that depend on what the boss is doing rather than a fixed clock.

Sound

Cadence ships with a bundled voice pack covering all six healer specs plus common raid cooldowns (126 clips, Piper neural TTS). When a cue fires, the cooldown name is spoken automatically — no configuration needed. A Default blip option is available per-reminder if you want the alert tone without the voice.

Commands

  • /cadence — open the planner
  • /cadence import — open the import dialog directly
  • /cadence test — preview your plan compressed into a few seconds
  • /cadence lock / /cadence unlock — lock or move the on-screen anchor
  • /cadence voice — configure text-to-speech output device

Requirements

No libraries. No dependencies. Optionally integrates with BigWigs and DBM for boss-timer anchors, but works without either.
