Description

Buzzard Plates is a lightweight addon which tweaks the Blizzard nameplates (designed for Retail patch 12.1). It has these simple features:
- Recolor nameplates based on enemy type (boss, caster, rare, quest mobs, etc.)
- Simplify nameplates of unimportant enemies (e.g. non-elites in instances) and reduce their size & spread distance so they can appear tightly packed and leave more space for important nameplates to spread.
- Increase the scale of the targeted nameplate.
- Adjust stacking distance of nameplates.
- Change the formatting of health text on nameplates (e.g. show 1.6M instead of 1600K).
- Fully hide realm names on friendlies - no "(*)".
- Add arrows as a target indicator, add a ! icon on quest mobs, reposition the raid target marker.
- Reposition auras, e.g. move Debuffs from Left to Right (experimental feature - read the ingame note in this section before enabling).
As this addon modifies the default Blizzard nameplates, the Nameplate options also need to be configured in the Blizzard Nameplates settings (ESC to open Game Menu -> Gameplay -> Nameplates).
Below are my preferred settings and what I used when taking the addon's screenshots:

AI Disclaimer: AI is used to assist with coding of this addon and for asset generation. The features and options layout are carefully planned and designed by me - not by AI. All features and settings are extensively tested by me in the live game and I am personally using all my addons in daily gameplay: raiding and M+. I am generally not testing in PvP and appreciate any feedback/bug reports.
