WHAT CHANGED
- Begins Button Forge Forever's independent public version series at 1.0.0.
- Updates all four client manifests and BFForever.Version to 1.0.0.
- Updates current installation/release documentation. Historical changelogs, original credits/notices, and source provenance remain included.
- Three old metadata tests now expect 1.0.0, rather than the stale .40 label retained in v41. Their gameplay/storage assertions are unchanged.
- Initializes the client-routing flag in the shared developer test harness. The real addon already initializes this through ForeverCompat before loading Bar.lua; v41 added a constructor dependency that the old isolated fixture did not model. No gameplay code or assertions were weakened.

WHAT DID NOT CHANGE
This is the v41 feature set, not a new gameplay or compatibility update. All original Lua/XML files are byte-identical to v41 except the public version string in ForeverCompat.lua. Client interface numbers, loader file lists, addon folder, SavedVariables, API and numeric save-format versions remain unchanged. No migration or reset is introduced by the renumbering. Old numeric schema/API versions may still read 1.3 / 5.0; they are not the public release version and must not be reduced merely to match 1.0.0. Existing layers, actions, visibility settings, keybindings, templates, recovery data, optional Blizzard main/stance controls, bag positions, and v41 talent-spec hide controls are preserved by the unchanged implementation. Historical .forever release numbers in changelogs/fixtures are intentional. The same package retains v41's Forever and Retail client declarations. No newer client interface/API compatibility is claimed by this repackaging.

INSTALLING OVER test-V41
Completely exit WoW; back up your addon and relevant WTF folders. Replace Interface\AddOns\ButtonForgeForever with the folder in this ZIP. Keep all four manifests and your WTF/SavedVariables files. Do not rename the addon folder or run migration helpers just for this version change. Keep original ButtonForge disabled. No bar recreation, rebinding, or Layered toggle needed. After login, /bff status should report 1.0.0. Close configuration to test layer switching. Confirm your saved layout, actions and keybindings remain.

TESTING STATUS This public release number is not a claim of live-client certification. Automated checks used simulated WoW APIs and Lua runtimes. The maintainers tested this release using the Forever test realm.
