Bug Spray

Olympus has a pest problem. One spray and the whole pantheon goes quiet.

Install it, click Yes, spray them, and keep playing. Bug Spray finds Olympus guild members in the background and hides their chat before they've said a word. In the beta it muted 283 players in ten minutes with no clicking.

It works on any guild, not only Olympus, and also hides gold-seller ads, repeated lines and whole channels. It finds you a group, too.

Mute tab

• Hide Olympus guilds in one click. The same button reads Show Olympus guilds to undo it.
• Any guild: type part of its name. Tick Pattern for game patterns such as ^olympus|^olympia.
• Auto-scan, on by default: quietly runs a /who every few seconds while you play, so guild members are muted before they speak. A full result is split by level and class until nobody is missed. It pauses whenever you use /who yourself.
• Mute one player by name; every guild and player you've added appears in a numbered list.
• Other spam: gold-seller ads (a link plus a sales word), the same line repeated, any word, or a whole channel such as Trade.
• Only public chat (say, yell, channels) is touched. Whispers, party, guild and raid are never filtered.

Hidden lines tab

• The last 50 hidden lines, each with the reason. Show ticked in chat puts lines back; Clear list empties the log.
• Never hide this player: for the friend who's in the wrong guild.
• Declines group invites, duels, trades and guild invites from muted players (on by default).
• Warns you when a muted player joins your group, and adds a red Muted line to their tooltip.
• Test a line to see whether it would be hidden, and why.

Groups tab

Collects LFG/LFM requests from public chat, tagged tank, healer or dps. Set Alert me when a request mentions: a dungeon name to get a sound and a message when one appears.

Window

SPRAY on the minimap or /bugspray opens it. Pull the right edge to widen it; pull the bottom-right corner to make everything bigger. /bugspray reset puts it back.

Tested in the Forever beta. Report anything odd in the comments; fixes ship the same day.
