Buffmoerlsac

A lightweight buff tracking addon for WoW Classic that remembers who cast your raid buffs.

Overview

Buffmoerlsac monitors incoming raid buffs and tracks which player cast them. When a buff expires, you instantly know exactly who to ask for a refresh—no more guessing which Paladin gave you Kings or which Priest cast Fortitude.

Features

• Automatic Buff Tracking — Logs the caster of every supported buff as it's applied
• Visual Status Display — Icons show buff status at a glance:
  • Active (white text with caster name)
  • Missing (red text with warning)
  • Never received (grayed out)
• One-Click Requests — Ask button whispers all relevant buffers for missing buffs
• Macro Support — Use /bmlask to request buffs from a macro
• Customizable — Enable/disable individual buffs, adjust UI scale, lock/unlock window
• Smart Targeting — Only whispers players currently in your party or raid
• Persistent Settings — Remembers your preferences and buff history between sessions
• Custom Whisper Messages — Set your own buff request text

Commands

• /buffmoerlsac — Toggle tracker window
• /bmlask — Request missing buffs via whisper

Usage

1. Enable the addon and open the tracker with /buffmoerlsac
2. Use the Options button to enable/disable buffs you want tracked
3. Buffs are logged automatically as they're cast on you
4. Click Ask (or use /bmlask) to whisper players for missing buffs
5. Drag to reposition, use Lock to prevent accidental moves
6. Adjust scale as needed
