# BuffBreak (beta)
**A real-life buff for long play sessions.**
> **This is an early beta, and your feedback is greatly appreciated.** Expect some rough edges. Every comment, bug report and suggestion goes straight into the next update. With Forever coming right around the corner we want it to be running smoothly so we can self buff IRL, so please any feedback is appreciated.
BuffBreak gives you quick exercises to do during WoW's downtime. When you take a flight path, ride a boat or zeppelin, craft a stack of items, run back to your corpse or wait in a battleground queue, it works out how long the wait will be and gives you a short set that fits inside it: push-ups, squats, or whatever exercises you've chosen. About ten seconds before the wait ends, it calls you back to the keyboard. It's an easy way to get up and move during long sessions without leaving the game at a bad moment.
Why it matters - We all know its what we need!
Decreased blood flow increases risk of balding, lower metabolism, tiredness. Sitting still slows the blood flow in your legs, and the effects show up fast. An hour of uninterrupted sitting cut the function of a major leg artery by up to 50%, while a five-minute walk each hour prevented the drop entirely. Short, regular movement breaks are one of the simplest fixes, and long gaming sessions are full of moments for them.
What it detects
Flight paths, timed exactly from the game's route data as soon as you pick a destination
Boats, zeppelins and the Deeprun Tram, with the full timetable after one sighting
Create All crafting, corpse runs on /follow, and battleground queues (loud alarm when it pops)
DBM and BigWigs break timers, and rare and escort respawns it has measured
Ready checks, summons, resurrections and invites while you're away
**How it works**
A wait begins, you get a 3-2-1, and the set starts. Longer waits are split into sets with rest between. When you're called back, enter your reps and you're straight back in. Every set is ranked on the loot scale from Poor to Artifact, with personal bests, achievements, streaks and the Peon's "Work complete." Turn on Extras for duels, wagers, a guild scoreboard and shared boat timetables.
**Your training**
Choose what you train each day and what equipment you have, turn exercises off or add your own. Seated mode covers a chair or wheelchair, and a short fitness profile scales the sets to you.
**Supported versions**
Classic Era (including Hardcore and SoD), TBC Anniversary, WoW Forever and Mists of Pandaria Classic, each with flight times from its own client data. On Mists, boat times are learned from your first ride and dungeon routes aren't supported yet. No account needed; everything stays in your SavedVariables unless you enable sharing.
**Commands:** `/fit` options · `/fit timer 5` a break on demand · `/fit accuracy` how close the countdowns have been
**Beta feedback: please tell us!**
BuffBreak is being shaped by the people who play with it, so any feedback is genuinely appreciated, big or small. If a countdown is off, a wait goes undetected, a workout doesn't suit your setup, something is confusing, or you hit a Lua error, leave a comment with what you were doing and what happened (BugSack helps capture errors). Ideas for new features are just as welcome. Thank you for testing!
