BronzeLFG is a modern group-finding and guild recruitment addon built specifically for the Bronzebeard Ascension server that transforms traditional chat-based recruitment into a structured, searchable, and user-friendly experience.

At its core, BronzeLFG automatically monitors public chat channels and intelligently parses LFG, LFM, guild recruitment, event, raid, dungeon, keystone, social, and miscellaneous listings. Instead of forcing players to constantly watch scrolling chat, BronzeLFG organizes these posts into dedicated browsers where listings can be searched, filtered, sorted, and reviewed at any time.

The addon features two primary systems:

Public Groups Browser

• Automatically captures and categorizes chat-based recruitment posts.
• Detects dungeons, raids, keystones, events, social activities, and general LFG requests.
• Sorts listings by age and activity.
• Provides activity recognition for Bronzebeard-specific content.
• Supports filtering, hiding categories, searching, paging, and alert notifications.
• Displays parsed activity names rather than raw chat text whenever possible.

Guild Browser

• Creates a dedicated recruitment hub for guild advertisements.
• Automatically extracts guild names from recruitment messages.
• Tracks recent recruitment posts, recruitment focus, Discord links, contacts, and activity tags.
• Supports favorites, search, filtering, and BronzeNet presence tracking.
• Converts otherwise transient chat advertisements into persistent guild profiles.

Additional systems include:

• Role detection and recruitment parsing.
• Dungeon, raid, event, and keystone alert subscriptions.
• Custom Bronzebeard activity databases.
• Automatic listing expiration and cleanup.
• Applicant and listing management tools.
• Favorite guild tracking.

Unlike traditional LFG addons that require all players to use the addon, BronzeLFG works immediately by leveraging existing chat traffic while simultaneously providing enhanced functionality for users who adopt the addon. This hybrid approach allows the addon to provide value on day one while naturally becoming more powerful as adoption increases across the server.
