1. Scope
This license applies to the copyrightable BoTD Companion code, documentation,
and original assets owned by Brandon Autry that accompany this license,
beginning with release 0.4.0-beta.28 (the "Software"). It does not claim
ownership of third-party material, game assets, APIs, names, or trademarks.
Separate third-party rights and licenses remain in effect; see NOTICES.md.

2. Free personal use and inspection
You may download, install, run, and inspect the Software free of charge. You
may make personal backup copies and private modifications for your own use.
Source code is provided in readable form and may be viewed by anyone. No
purchase, donation, subscription, or payment is required to access any feature.

3. Distribution by authorized services
CurseForge/Overwolf and other distribution services expressly authorized by
the copyright holder may host, cache, scan, and distribute official unmodified
releases, including through their download clients, under their applicable
agreements with the copyright holder. This permission does not authorize
unrelated third parties to publish modified releases or unofficial mirrors.

4. Reserved rights
Except as permitted above, by another applicable license, by written
permission from the copyright holder, or by applicable law, you may not copy
or redistribute the Software, publish derivative works, incorporate its code
or assets into another project, sell or sublicense it, remove ownership
notices from distributed copies, or present it as your own work. Permission
for public forks, repackaging, mirrors, translations, or other redistribution
must be obtained separately. Linking to an official project/download page
does not require permission. No trademark license is granted by this license.

5. Earlier releases and third-party rights
Earlier copies released under GPLv3 or another license retain the rights
granted by that license. This license does not revoke, replace, narrow, or
retroactively change those rights, including rights to previously licensed
code. It does not relicense third-party contributions. Any separately licensed
material remains governed by its applicable license. Rights that cannot be
restricted under applicable law are not restricted here.

6. Game rules
Use of the Software must comply with applicable game and platform terms.
This license does not authorize automation, circumvention of game restrictions,
or any use prohibited by Blizzard. This is an independent community addon,
not an official Blizzard product and not endorsed by Blizzard.

7. No warranty; limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED
"AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING
MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
