What's new

Bordo 1.15.50 - Changes since 1.15.49

- Renamed the integrated dispel module in the sidebar from Display to Dispell.
- Renamed all three internal tabs to Dispell, Dispell Filter and Dispell Glow so the complete section uses the correct label consistently.
- All Lua files passed Lua 5.1 syntax parsing and Lua compiler loading. Static checks confirmed the old Display labels are absent from the dispel navigation; no live in-game UI test was performed.

Bordo 1.15.49 - Changes since 1.15.48

- Removed Warrior Bladestorm from PI CD Alerts.
- Removed both the base/talent spell ID 227847 and the current cast-on-press variant 446035, so Bladestorm no longer triggers an alert and no longer appears under Supported CDs.
- Avatar, Recklessness and Ravager remain available for Warrior cooldown alerts.
- All Lua files passed Lua 5.1 syntax parsing and Lua compiler loading. Static checks confirmed both Bladestorm variants are absent from the tracked and displayed spell set; no live in-game UI test was performed.

Bordo 1.15.48 - Changes since 1.15.47

- Replaced the Blizzard gold page-button artwork with custom Bordo previous/next arrows that match the dark gray-blue interface.
- Each arrow is drawn from three crisp 3-pixel lines: a horizontal shaft and a clearly recognizable arrowhead. No font glyphs or external button textures are used, preventing empty boxes and mismatched Blizzard styling.
- The arrows brighten on hover and remain separately clickable for previous and next. The shared implementation applies to every current and future cycle selector.
- All 13 Lua files passed Lua 5.1 syntax parsing and Lua compiler loading. Static checks covered both arrow directions, custom line geometry and removal of Blizzard/Unicode arrow assets; no live in-game UI test was performed.

Bordo 1.15.47 - Changes since 1.15.46

- Removed Interrupt Voice, Dungeon Settings and Cast Safety after real dungeon testing showed the Important Cast callouts do not work in current Retail restricted content.
- Root cause: hostile UNIT_SPELLCAST event spell IDs are secret inside restricted dungeons. Bordo may pass those values directly into approved visual UI sinks, but it may not compare them with an Important Cast list and conditionally trigger text-to-speech. The previous safety guard therefore discarded the protected ID and no callout played.
- Confirmed the restriction against the installed current BigWigs/LittleWigs implementation: Retail combat-log spell filtering is disabled, current Midnight trash modules expose aura-based warnings but do not perform per-spell trash-cast branching, and their generic cast bars only forward protected values into Blizzard display APIs.
- Removed both nonfunctional modules from addon loading, the sidebar, Unlock Mode and new profile exports. Existing profile codes containing the old settings remain importable; Bordo validates and discards that obsolete section.
- Replaced the unsupported Unicode selector glyphs that appeared as square boxes with Blizzard's native previous-page and next-page button textures. Both arrows remain separately clickable on every cycle selector.
- All 13 remaining Lua files passed Lua 5.1 syntax parsing and Lua compiler loading. Static checks covered complete module removal, old-profile compatibility stripping, saved-variable cleanup and native arrow textures; no live in-game UI test was performed.

Bordo 1.15.46 - Changes since 1.15.45

- Moved the Important, All ON and All OFF preset buttons into the Important Casts card header beside the selected dungeon name, matching the requested compact layout.
- Limited the dynamic dungeon title and subtitle to the left side of the header so long names cannot overlap the preset controls.
- Moved the scrollable ability list up by 40 pixels into the space freed by the buttons, displaying roughly one more cast without enlarging the window.
- All 15 Lua files passed Lua 5.1 syntax parsing and Lua compiler loading. Static checks covered the header-button positions, protected title width and expanded list viewport; no live in-game UI test was performed.

Bordo 1.15.45 - Changes since 1.15.44

- Extended the lower edge of the Dungeon Settings Important Casts card by 40 pixels into the previously unused panel space.
- The dungeon tiles, cast-card header and preset buttons stay in their existing positions, while the scrollable cast list now shows roughly one additional ability at once.
- Kept a small gap above the footer instead of stretching the card all the way to the bottom.
- All 15 Lua files passed Lua 5.1 syntax parsing and Lua compiler loading. Static checks covered the new card height and unchanged list anchors; no live in-game UI test was performed.

Bordo 1.15.44 - Changes since 1.15.43

- Corrected the Dungeon Settings tile geometry after an in-game screenshot showed the square Blizzard dungeon icons were still being stretched horizontally.
- Dungeon tiles now use a true center-zoomed cover crop calculated for the 148-by-42-pixel inner tile. The image keeps its original square aspect ratio; only the upper and lower portions outside the wide tile are clipped.
- Kept the clean dungeon icon source and removed the fallback to Blizzard's background atlas, preventing unused black atlas space from returning.
- All 15 Lua files passed Lua 5.1 syntax parsing and Lua compiler loading. Static checks covered the square-source cover crop, clean icon selection and removal of the background-atlas fallback; no live in-game UI test was performed.

Bordo 1.15.43 - Changes since 1.15.42

- Replaced the thin cycle-selector chevrons with wider, outlined previous and next arrows that are easier to recognize without overpowering the interface.
- Each arrow is now its own clickable target: the left arrow selects the previous option and the right arrow selects the next option. The existing left-click/right-click behavior on the rest of the field remains available.
- Applied the clearer arrows through Bordo's shared selector component, so Song, Sound Channel, orientation, profile choices and every other current or future cycle field use the same improved controls.
- All 15 Lua files passed Lua 5.1 syntax parsing and Lua compiler loading. Static checks covered the shared arrow styling and both click directions; no live in-game UI test was performed.

Bordo 1.15.42 - Changes since 1.15.41

- Fixed the Dungeon Settings artwork tiles: Bordo now uses the clean challenge-map texture instead of the background atlas with unused black space. Every image is center-cropped into its tile while preserving the source aspect ratio.
- Removed the duplicate Voice Status panel and its redundant Open Dungeon Settings button. The Interrupt Voice Settings page now uses the full content width for its actual controls.
- Split Power Infusion into three header tabs: PI Target, PI Received and CD Alerts.
- PI Target now keeps the target display controls on the left and the complete priority rules and scrollable spec-rank list directly beside them on the right.
- PI Received now has its own uncluttered page with separate healer, DPS and tank role settings, sound, size, test, reset and Unlock Mode controls.
- CD Alerts remains a dedicated page and no longer contains an extra Back to Power Infusion button because the header tabs provide direct navigation.
- Added a clearly visible Back button at the upper left of the Cast Safety subpage. Future nested settings pages will use the same header position.
- Legacy saved PI Priority pages and /bordo priority now open the combined PI Target tab automatically.
- All 15 Lua files passed Lua 5.1 syntax parsing. Static checks covered the three PI tabs, legacy routing, clean dungeon artwork crop, removed duplicate voice panel and top-left Back navigation; no live in-game UI test was performed.

Bordo 1.15.41 - Changes since 1.15.40

- Split Interrupt Voice into two header tabs: Settings and Dungeon Settings.
- Settings now contains the general voice toggles, volume, test button, Cast Safety shortcut and current interrupt status without mixing in the dungeon cast list.
- Added a dedicated Dungeon Settings page with all eight Midnight Season 2 dungeons displayed as a 4-by-2 tile grid. Selecting a tile immediately loads that dungeon's abilities below it.
- Kept every per-spell toggle, enemy name, spell ID and the Important, All ON and All OFF presets in the new dungeon page.
- Added Vertical and Horizontal orientation options for PI Cooldown Alerts. Horizontal mode places group-member alert columns beside each other; raid mode wraps after five columns.
- PI-CD orientation is saved in Bordo profiles. Older profile codes remain compatible and retain the receiving character's current orientation.
- Horizontal/Vertical choice will be included by default for future list displays whenever both layouts are technically meaningful.
- Automated checks confirmed eight unique dungeon tiles backed by all 60 configurable casts, orientation profile export and old-profile migration. Source checks covered both horizontal and vertical PI anchor paths. All 15 Lua files passed Lua 5.1 syntax parsing; no live in-game UI test was performed.

Bordo 1.15.40 - Changes since 1.15.39

- Made the character-centered Cast Safety Ring visibly thinner.
- Changed the static ring into a smooth circular cast-progress display. Its arc now advances with the player's current cast and closes the circle when that cast finishes.
- The progress resets correctly for every new player cast during a supported stop-cast mechanic, including readable channels.
- Green/SAFE and red/STOP still compare the player's cast end plus safety margin against the enemy mechanic's real impact time.
- The center number now shows the player's remaining cast time instead of the enemy mechanic's remaining time.
- Automated runtime checks covered cooldown-swipe configuration, exact player cast duration, progress reset on a new cast, SAFE/STOP colors and preview timing. All 15 Lua files passed Lua 5.1 syntax parsing; no live in-game mechanic test was performed.

Bordo 1.15.39 - Changes since 1.15.38

- Changed the Cast Safety Ring from a small cursor-following indicator to a large ring centered around the player's normal on-screen character position.
- Existing 1.15.38 installations automatically migrate to the new 180 px centered ring. The ring can still be placed precisely with Bordo Unlock Mode for different camera layouts.
- Combined PI Target Suggestion and PI Cooldown Alerts into one shared PI Display anchor. Both displays now use the same position and only one Unlock Mode selector is required.
- The CD Alerts page's reset and Unlock Mode buttons now control the shared PI Display position.
- Renamed the unclear Unlock Mode label "PI In" to "PI Received" and expanded its title to "Power Infusion Received".
- Profile validation now accepts the larger Cast Safety Ring size, and profile application preserves the new layout migration state.
- Automated checks covered the old cursor-ring migration, centered 180 px placement, green/red cast comparison, shared PI coordinates and removal of the separate PI CDs mover. All 15 Lua files passed Lua 5.1 syntax parsing; no live in-game test was performed.

Bordo 1.15.38 - Changes since 1.15.37

- Added a Cast Safety Ring under Interrupt Voice for stop-cast mechanics that lock players out when their cast is still running.
- The ring turns green when the player's current cast finishes before the mechanic and red when the mechanic lands first. A configurable 0-500 ms safety margin is included.
- Added verified support for Disruption from the Thundering Totem in King's Rest and Interrupting Cloudburst from Erkhart Stormvein in Ruby Life Pools. Both mechanics can be enabled separately.
- The ring uses the visible enemy cast's real start/end data and the player's readable cast end time. If either value is protected or unavailable, the ring stays hidden instead of estimating.
- The ring follows the cursor by default. It can instead use a fixed position, and that position is movable through Bordo Unlock Mode. Ring size and a five-second green/red preview are configurable.
- Cast Safety settings, positions and mechanic toggles are included in profile save, import and export. Profiles from 1.15.37 and older remain compatible.
- Added secret-value guards around all cast timing, cursor and UI-scale reads. The feature is visual only and never cancels a spell automatically.
- All 15 Lua files passed Lua 5.1 syntax parsing. Automated runtime checks covered green/red comparison, protected timing fallback and preview behavior. No live in-game boss test was performed.

Bordo 1.15.37 - Changes since 1.15.36

- Added a new Interrupt Voice module with the English text-to-speech callout "Interrupt" for dangerous enemy casts.
- Added the complete Midnight Season 2 Mythic+ pool: Altar of Fangs, Murder Row, Den of Nalorakk, The Blinding Vale, Voidscar Arena, Kings' Rest, Ruby Life Pools and Temple of Sethraliss.
- Added 60 verified interruptible Season 2 casts. The Important preset enables 39 high-priority fears, disorients, AoE volleys, heals, buffs and heavy damage-over-time casts while leaving filler bolts available but disabled.
- Added an Interrupt Voice sidebar page. Select a dungeon and toggle every spell separately with its enemy name, icon and spell ID. Per-dungeon Important, All ON and All OFF buttons are included.
- Voice alerts default to dungeon instances and only play when the player's currently learned interrupt is ready. Supported abilities follow the current BigWigs retail interrupt list, including pet Spell Lock.
- Uses only readable spell IDs and player cooldown data. Protected important-cast booleans and protected target data are never evaluated, preventing secret-value taint errors.
- Interrupt Voice settings and all 60 spell toggles are included in Bordo profile save, import and export. Profiles from older Bordo versions remain compatible and retain the receiver's current Interrupt Voice preset.
- Automated runtime checks covered ready/on-cooldown behavior, dungeon and spell filters, exact "Interrupt" speech text, per-dungeon reset modes and old-profile migration. All 14 Lua files passed Lua 5.1 syntax parsing. No live in-game dungeon test was performed.
