BonjourThereReminders
Never miss a raid buff, repair, or break again. BonjourThereReminders is a lightweight, fully customizable reminder addon for World of Warcraft that fires on-screen popups for whatever you need to remember — whether that's a scheduled raid time, a login check, a break timer, or entering a new dungeon.
Built to be flexible without being complicated, it supports five different reminder types and lets you style each one however you like.
✨ Features
Five Reminder Types
-
Timed — Fires at a specific time on specific days (e.g., Monday and Wednesday at 19:45, 15 minutes before raid).
-
On Login — Fires when you log in on selected days (e.g., check your mail on reset day).
-
Interval — Fires repeatedly during your play session (e.g., every 60 minutes, remind me to drink water).
-
Timer — A live countdown overlay triggered by a custom slash command (e.g.,
/break 5for a 5-minute break timer). -
On Zone-In — Fires when you enter a raid or dungeon, optionally filtered by instance, difficulty, and Mythic+ status.
Custom Slash Command Timers
Set up your own slash commands like /break, /stretch, or /check that start a live countdown overlay. Perfect for breaks, pull timers, or any short-duration reminder. You can also allow duration overrides — /break 10 for a 10-minute timer even if the default is 5.
Visual Customization
-
Per-Type Colors and Sizes — Give each reminder type its own title color, message color, and font size. Your raid reminders can be blue and gold while your break timer is green and yellow.
-
Live Preview — See exactly how each reminder type will look in-game before you ever trigger one.
-
Color Presets — 10 built-in colors (white, gold, yellow, blue, green, red, pink, purple, orange, gray) or pick your own.
Zone-In Reminders with Consumables Checklist
When you enter a raid or dungeon, remind yourself to bring flasks, food, potions, and more. Toggle individual consumables from a customizable list, and they'll appear as a checklist in the popup.
Combat-Safe
Timed reminders queued during combat fire cleanly once you leave combat, so you never miss a raid warning because you were mid-fight.
Other Useful Features
-
Character-Only Reminders — Restrict a reminder to fire only on a specific character.
-
Manual or Automatic Chat Delivery — Send reminders to Guild, Officer, or Say chat, either automatically or with a "Send" button.
-
Draggable Overlay — Move the popup wherever you want, and lock it in place when you're happy.
-
Repeating Zone-In Reminders — Optionally re-fire reminders while you're still inside an instance.

🐛 Found a Bug or Have an Idea?
Please use the Issues tab on this project page to report bugs or suggest features — it keeps everything trackable so I can make sure nothing gets missed. When reporting a bug, it helps a lot if you include:
-
Your addon version (visible at the bottom of the settings panel or via
/btr version) -
Steps to reproduce the problem
-
Any error messages you saw (Lua errors from addons like BugSack or
/console scriptErrors 1are ideal)
General questions and casual chat can go in the comments.
🔧 Installation
-
Download and extract the addon into your
World of Warcraft\_retail_\Interface\AddOns\folder. -
Make sure the folder is named exactly
BonjourThereReminders. -
Restart WoW or type
/reloadif you were already logged in. -
Type
/btrin-game to open the settings panel.
📌 Notes
-
The overlay is fully optional — every reminder can be set to "On-screen only" if you don't want anything sent to chat.
-
Everything is stored per-account, so your reminders follow you across characters (unless you set them to be character-only).
-
No dependencies. No external libraries. Just install and go.
