What is BobberLouder?

BobberLouder is a small, standalone World of Warcraft addon that makes the fishing sound easier to hear by automatically adjusting the game's audio while you are fishing.

What it does

• Detects when fishing is in progress.
• Automatically boosts the audio for fishing.
• Waits 10 seconds after fishing ends before restoring the normal audio level.
• If fishing starts again during that 10-second delay, it keeps the fishing audio active instead of restoring normal audio prematurely.
• Runs automatically when enabled; there is no need to toggle it manually during normal use.

Installation

1. Exit World of Warcraft.
2. Put the BobberLouder folder in your WoW client's Interface\AddOns directory.
3. Start the game and open the AddOns list on the character-selection screen.
4. Make sure BobberLouder is enabled.
5. Log in and fish as usual.

The folder layout should look like this:

World of Warcraft/
└── Interface/
    └── AddOns/
        └── BobberLouder/
            └── addon files

Compatibility

BobberLouder is intended for Warmane's World of Warcraft 3.3.5a client. Compatibility with other WoW versions has not been confirmed.

About BobberAudioTest

BobberAudioTest is a separate test addon and is not required by BobberLouder. Keep it separate from the standalone BobberLouder addon.
