BloodWine - Klingon Warrior Addon
A World of Warcraft addon that makes your warrior character automatically say random Klingon phrases during combat, death, and in response to emotes. Perfect for roleplayers who want to embrace the warrior spirit of the Klingon Empire!

Installation
- Download the addon from CurseForge
- Extract the
BloodWine folder to your World of Warcraft/_retail_/Interface/AddOns/ directory
- Restart World of Warcraft or reload your UI (
/reload)
- The addon will automatically load and create a minimap button
Usage
Basic Commands
/bloodwine - Open the main configuration window
/bloodwine ui - Same as above
/bloodwine test - Test a random phrase
/bloodwine status - Show current addon status
/bloodwine toggle - Enable/disable the addon
Minimap Button
- Left-Click: Open configuration window
- Right-Click: Quick access menu
- Drag: Reposition the button around the minimap
Configuration Tabs
- General: Main settings, chat channels, taunt timing
- Combat: Enable/disable combat events and test phrases
- Emotes: Manage emote responses and add new ones
- Phrases: View phrase counts and test categories
- Import/Export: Backup/restore settings and reset to defaults
Default Phrases
The addon comes with authentic Klingon phrases including:
- "Today is a good day to die!" (Heghlu'meH QaQ jajvam!)
- "Qapla'! Let the battle begin!" (Success! Let the battle begin!)
- "Blood will flow like wine!"
- "Your blood will paint my blade!"
- "Victory or death, there is no other choice!"
Default Emote Responses
Pre-configured responses for common emotes:
- HUG: "Klingons do not hug, but fight!"
- CHEER: "Qapla'! Your spirit is strong!"
- LAUGH: "You laugh? You will die laughing!"
- SALUTE: "Honor to you, warrior!"
- And many more...
Configuration
Chat Channel Settings
- Use YELL in raids: Automatically use YELL channel in raid groups
- Use YELL in parties: Automatically use YELL channel in party groups
Combat Taunt Timing
- Minimum interval: 3-20 seconds between taunts
- Maximum interval: 5-30 seconds between taunts
- Random timing within this range prevents predictability
Adding Custom Emotes
- Go to the Import/Export tab
- Enter the emote name (e.g., "HUG")
- Enter your custom response phrase
- Click Add
- The new response will appear in the Emotes tab
Troubleshooting
Addon Not Working
- Ensure the addon is enabled in the AddOns list
- Check that the minimap button is visible
- Try
/reload to restart the addon
Phrases Not Appearing
- Verify the addon is enabled in the General tab
- Check that specific event types are enabled
- Ensure you're in the correct chat channel
UI Issues
- Try resetting to defaults using the Import/Export tab
- Check that no other addons are conflicting
- Report issues on the CurseForge page
