WoW retail 9.2.7 compatibility, now you default to DPS role outside groups.
Initial attempt of Wrath Classic compatibility (thanks JCVDemon for testing):
Wrath talent panel has a default role up top, set as desired before grouping.
Then while in groups, right-click your player portrait and Set Role as needed.
