BLib v1.11.0
What's new
1.11.0
- Export / Import: carry your settings to another computer or client without typing a command. One window for every addon that takes part. Export lists the addons with a tick each, all ticked, over one block of text for the ticked ones: click it, press Ctrl+C and paste it into a text file. Import has a box to paste that text into; it says who saved it and when and lists each addon in it with a tick, "Apply to this character" puts the ticked ones on, and each addon says whether it applied or why it refused. Nothing is printed to chat. Open it from "Export / Import" in the title bar of an addon's settings window, or from the button at the foot of the launcher. An addon made of several parts is one row.
/blib profileand its commands work as before. - One place to open every addon.
/blibopens a launcher listing each of these addons you have loaded, with a button for its main window and one for its settings, so there is no command to remember and no trip through the game's Options menu./blib helpprints the commands/blibused to. - One minimap button for all of them. The launcher has its own minimap button. While it is on, an addon's own minimap button is hidden, unless it shows something live (Ranksmith's count) or you keep it with the switch on that addon's row in the launcher. Turn the launcher's button off there and every addon's own button returns.
- Names in Cyrillic, Korean and Chinese are drawn. The text of every addon built on BLib used one font file with none of those letters, so a player or item named in them showed as boxes. That text now uses the game's own file for each alphabet. Text in the Latin alphabet looks as it did.
- Fixed: a character's bags were forgotten when it logged out. BLib keeps what each of your characters holds, bags and bank, so that the addons built on it can count materials across all of them. When a character logged out, its bags were read once more and came back empty, and that was written over the record: from then on only its bank was known to your other characters. A character that had never opened its bank was known to hold nothing at all. The reading taken at a logout is no longer trusted when it is empty, so the record keeps what the bags held. Each character has to be logged in once after updating for its bags to be recorded again. Forgemaster's material counts and Countinghouse's Crates tab were both short by whatever sat in your other characters' bags.
- A cog beside the title of an addon's main window opens its settings, where the addon has a settings window of its own.
- Fixed: the example text in a text box could run out of the box. A hint longer than its box was drawn over whatever sat beside it. It is now cut off at the box's edge.
- Fixed: a window could cover its own handle in
/move. The handles were drawn at the same height as windows, so a piece that is a window (Belphie's Quest Log's Waypoints list) drew over its handle and could be dragged out from under it by its title bar, leaving the handle behind. Handles are now above every window and below the edit mode's own toolbar. - One fold tab for every window that tucks away at the edge of the screen. Foreverbound's folded bars and Belphie's Quest Log's Waypoints list each drew their own small arrow tab, and the two did not look alike. BLib now has the tab, in Foreverbound's look, the fold-away itself (out when you point at it, away a moment after, a click of either mouse button to keep it out), and the docking that goes with them (a window dragged against any edge of the screen stays there), for any addon to use. Vanguard's gear sets and mitigation window are built on all three, Foreverbound's folded bars use the tab and the fold-away, and the Waypoints list has the tab; Foreverbound's bars look and fold exactly as they did.
