BlackHive LFG Tracker

Tracks who's recruiting for your guild raids through the in-game Group Finder, how long they spend doing it, and who they talk to — so recruiting effort stops being invisible.

Works out of the box for the Black Hive guild; any other guild installing it configures its own name, Discord link and recruitment message from the in-game Settings tab, no code editing required.

What it does

Automatic session tracking — the moment you list yourself in the Group Finder for Serpentshrine Cavern, Tempest Keep, Black Temple or Mount Hyjal, the addon starts tracking. Everything else (dungeons, other raids, other players' listings) is ignored. A quick popup confirms it's a guild raid, asks which day, and optionally what time the pull starts. The session ends automatically once the group forms or the listing is removed, and survives a /reload or reconnect.

Recruitment tracking — while a session is active, whispers exchanged with players outside the guild are logged. The first time an external candidate whispers you, they automatically receive your recruitment message (customizable, see below). Guild members are ignored entirely — this is about recruiting, not guild chat.

Native Group Finder integration — a "Recruit" button is added directly to Blizzard's browse panel, next to "Send Message". Select a player and send them the recruitment message in one click. A checkmark shows who's already been contacted, and it's shared live with other guild members recruiting for the same raid, so nobody gets spammed twice.

My Sessions — your personal history, grouped by raid date: how long you spent, who you talked to, what you posted. Clearable at any time without affecting the dashboard below.

Dashboard (GM / officers / deputies only) — an overview grouped by raid date, then by player: who recruited, how many sessions, how many people were reached. Only sessions that actually matter show up here — at least 30 minutes of recruiting, or at least one external contact — so the dashboard isn't cluttered by two-second test listings. The GM can clear it entirely or one date at a time; the cleanup syncs to every officer automatically.

Settings — guild name, Discord invite link, a fully customizable recruitment message (with {raid}, {date}, {time} and {discord} placeholders), and which guild ranks count as "officer" for dashboard access. The rank list is GM-only and syncs to the whole guild once saved.

Localization — the whole interface switches to French automatically on a French game client, and defaults to English otherwise.

Installation

1. Copy the addon folder into Interface/AddOns/BlackHiveAddon.
2. Enable BlackHive LFG Tracker in your addon list.
3. Type /blackhive in-game to open the panel, or click the minimap icon (draggable).

Notes

• Requires being in a guild for officer detection, session reporting, and the Discord/Settings flow to be meaningful.
• Only GM, Officer or Deputy ranks (configurable) see the Dashboard tab; everyone sees and contributes to My Sessions.
