BiStro

BiStro is a World of Warcraft addon for the Midnight Season 1 patch that serves as a boss-centric BiS (Best in Slot) loot browser.

Core Concept

Rather than the traditional approach of "here is a BiS list for my spec", BiStro flips it — you select a raid and boss first, then see all the loot that boss drops, with optional class/spec filtering on top.

In-Game Access

You can open the panel with either the minimap icon or with /bistro

Features

• Raid → Boss navigation via custom dropdowns, showing all loot for a selected boss
• Class filter — narrows and highlights items that are BiS for any spec of that class
• Spec filter — stacks on top of the class filter to show only items BiS for that specific spec, hiding non-BiS rows entirely
• BiS FOR column — each item row lists every class/spec combination it is BiS for, color-coded by class color
• Item tooltips — hovering an item row shows the full native WoW item tooltip with correct stats and ilvl, driven by bonus IDs stored in the data
• Dynamic row heights — rows expand vertically when an item is BiS for many specs so text never spills into adjacent rows
