BiS Journal

BiS Journal is a lightweight addon that helps you track your Best-in-Slot (BiS) gear for each specialization. Easily add items from the Adventure Guide or vendor windows to your personal BiS list with a simple Alt+Click, and keep track of what gear you're hunting for across different dungeons, raids, and vendors.

Features

Integrated with Adventure Guide: BiS Journal automatically appears when you open the Adventure Guide, positioned neatly to the right.  (Open from the minimap button to stay open until closed)

Vendor Support: Add items from vendors with Alt+Click to keep track of purchasable BiS items

Easy Item Management: Alt+Click on items in the Adventure Guide to add them to your BiS list

Enhanced Source Tracking: Automatically records where each BiS item drops from, including dungeon/raid name, boss name, and expansion information

Expansion Navigation: Seamlessly navigate back to items from previous expansions in the Adventure Guide

Specialization Support: Maintains separate BiS lists for each of your character's specializations

Import/Export: Share your BiS lists with other players or across characters with the built-in import/export functionality

Tooltip Integration: Items in your BiS list are highlighted when you mouse over them anywhere in the game

Customizable Appearance: Change the background color, opacity, and text colors to match your UI

Convenient Access: Toggle the BiS Journal panel with the minimap button or slash command (/bj)

Drag & Drop: Reposition and resize the panel anywhere on your screen

Lock Feature: Lock the panel to prevent moving to the Adventure Guide or Vendor window

How to Use

1. Open the Adventure Guide to view dungeons and raids

2. Find an item you want to add to your BiS list

3. Alt+Click the item to add it to your list

4. View your BiS list in the panel that appears next to the Adventure Guide (or where you've placed it)

5. Click on an item in your list to navigate directly to its source in the Adventure Guide (must open the adventure guide at least once after logging on to use this feature)

6. Remove items from your list by clicking the X button

7. Export your BiS list to share with friends or import lists from others

8. Customize the appearance in the options panel

BiS Journal helps you stay organized while gearing up your character, making it easier to plan your dungeon and raid runs for maximum efficiency.
