# BiS Finder

**BiS Finder** helps you find, organize, and track your Best-in-Slot gear directly inside World of Warcraft Retail.

Search the Adventure Guide by class, specialization, armor type, stats, dungeons, raids, and individual instances. You can build your lists manually or let the addon automatically create a complete list using your selected filters.

## Automatic Lists

Enter a name for your new list and choose **Automatic**. Configure your class, specialization, preferred stats, content, and instances, then press **Create Automatic List**.

BiS Finder will scan the Adventure Guide and save every matching item together with its dungeon, raid, or boss information.

You can also choose **Manual** to use the existing item-by-item workflow.

## Character Tracking

BiS Finder checks the current character’s:

- Equipped items
- Bags
- Personal bank

Warband bank items are intentionally kept separate.

Missing items are displayed with a small **BF** indicator next to the corresponding equipment slot in the Character window. Hover over it to view the item and its source, or click it to mark the piece as obtained manually.
