BetterTogether
The game is better with someone. This makes it even better.
A living dashboard of the person you adventure with: see at a glance that your
partner is flasked, fed, repaired, and on the right quest before the pull — plus
a growing scrapbook of every boss, dungeon, and achievement you've earned together.
WoW is a world meant to be shared, but the moment you play side by side the little
things start tripping you up. Did your partner repair? Are they flasked? Are you
even on the same quest? Are you about to pull while they're still selling greys?
BetterTogether is a warm, living dashboard of the person you adventure with. Each of
you installs it, you bond once, and from then on you each see a panel showing the
other person — their readiness before every pull, what they're up to right now,
and a growing scrapbook of everything you've done together.
It's built for duos. Two friends. A guild pair. A couple sharing one couch. The
shape of play almost no addon serves — too small for raid tools, too together for
solo tools.
Why you'll love it
- It's about the two of you. Not a raid frame, not a meter. A panel that knows
you're a pair and treats your journey as one shared story.
- No more "wait, are you ready?" One glance tells you your partner is flasked,
fed, repaired, and on the right quest — before the pull, not after the wipe.
- It remembers what you've done together. Bosses downed, dungeons run, miles
walked side by side, and the achievements you earned on the same day.
- You're always in control. Everything you share is a toggle, and your partner
knows when you've kept something private — no awkward "why is this blank?"
- It just feels nice. A clean, gold-accented panel with a live 3D model of your
partner. Movable, scalable, and at home on any screen.
What's inside
BetterTogether is organized into tabs, each a different window into your duo.
Overview — is my partner ready?
A live, rotatable 3D model of your partner alongside the question that matters before
every pull: a single green / amber / red verdict, backed by at-a-glance rows:
- Repairs & durability — the weakest piece of gear, as a percentage
- Flask · Food · Weapon oil · Augment rune — active or missing
- Bag space — free slots remaining
- Right now — where they are, resting state, Mythic+ keystone, and gold
Statistics — everything we've done together
A running tally of your shared adventures:
- Adventured together — bosses, dungeons, Mythic+ completed, and time played
together (self-healing, so neither of you can miss a count)
- You vs. your partner — quests, deaths, mobs slain, and levels gained
- Records — the date you first grouped up, and your best Mythic+ key
- Recent Mythic+ — your last runs, timed or not
Together — your shared memories
Your achievements, reframed as a scrapbook of the two of you:
- Featured memories — "3 years ago today," where it all began, and your
proudest shared moment, surfaced automatically
- Browse by era — page through every expansion and see the achievements you
earned on the same day, plus the ones only one of you has
Quests — are we going the same way?
- On together — quests you're both doing, with each side's progress
- Partner's on it, you're not — and vice versa, so nobody gets left behind
Inventory — what's in their bags?
Browse your partner's bags, sorted into Consumables, Reagents, Quest Items,
Equipment, and more. Hover any item for a full tooltip. Great for "do you have a
spare flask?" moments.
Partners — your roster
Keep a roster of everyone you adventure with, see who's online, and switch your
active partner with a single click.
Privacy — your call, always
Every category is a checkbox, grouped into Readiness, Character, and History & data.
Share all, share nothing, or fine-tune it. Unticked items never leave your client.
Getting started
It takes about thirty seconds.
- Both of you install BetterTogether. (It's a two-way bond.)
- One of you types
/bt invite <partnerName>.
- The other clicks Accept (or types
/bt accept).
- That's it — you're bonded. The pairing is saved and reconnects automatically.
Pairing works over whisper, so you don't even need to be in a party to set it up.
Drag the panel wherever you like, then /bt lock to pin it in place.

Everything is reachable from the panel, but if you like the keyboard, use /bt (or

Settings
Open with /bt. You can tune:
- Panel scale & lock — size it to your screen and pin it in place
- Durability threshold — how low is "too low" before the verdict turns red
- Which checks are blocking — decide what counts as a real problem (red) vs. a
gentle heads-up (amber): durability, flask, food, bags, weapon oil, aug rune, or a
quest mismatch
- Which rows are visible — hide anything you don't care about
- Broadcast quest — share your super-tracked quest automatically, or pin one
Built to be a good citizen
BetterTogether is intentionally quiet and safe:
- It does nothing in combat, by design. Every check happens out of combat.
- Each client only reads its own state and shares a tiny snapshot — no client
reads anything protected about the other player. That keeps it compatible with
Midnight's Secret Values rules and free of taint.
- It respects the addon-message budget, batching updates so it never spams the
server.
No automation, no meters, no clutter. Just the two of you, a little more prepared and
a lot more connected.
Made for everyone who plays better together.
