Description
OVERVIEW
The purpose of this addon is to get around the 255-character limit of macros. With this addon, you are able to fit Power Infusion, Potion, Trinket, On-Use Racials (optionally) and Vampiric Embrace (optionally) into one macro, with the ability to dynamically change the target's name without manually typing it out.
How to use this addon…
1. Create a macro in-game labeled "PI" and drag that macro to your action bars.
2. Select 'Config' to choose what to include in your macro (potions, on-use racials, Vampiric Embrace).
3. That's it — clicking a new 'PI' or 'PI w/o Pot' automatically overwrites the macro with the new target and any new config selections you choose. No need to clear anything first.
Right-Click Targeting
You can also right-click any party member, raid member, or your own player frame and choose PI Target from the context menu to set the macro's target directly — no need to select them first.
On-Screen Warnings
While you're in an instance with a group, the addon will flash a large on-screen warning if:
- The PI macro is empty
- The target currently set in the macro is not found in your party/raid.
Outside of an instance/group, these warnings stay hidden.
Moving the Panel
Hold Shift and left-click-drag any button to reposition the whole panel. Its position is saved automatically and restored on your next login.
Commands /pialert lock — toggles whether the on-screen warning frame can be dragged to a new position.
