Better Item Compare 1.0.0
What's new
Better Item Compare 1.0.0
First version.
- Plain words in the item tooltip: "Equipping this replaces [your item]." then "Equipping this will change your stats as follows:" and one line per stat: damage per second first, then main stats and Stamina, then secondary stats.
- The first row shows how your average item level goes up or down if you make the swap (counted like your character sheet).
- Wearing a two-hander? A new one-hand weapon or off-hand item is compared together with the best partner in your bags (for example your sword and a new shield): "Equipping this with [sword] from your bags replaces [two-hander]."
- A two-hander is compared against both items it would replace.
- Stats the game greys out for your spec are left out, like Blizzard's own comparison.
- Rings, trinkets and dual-wield weapons say which one they would replace (empty slot first, then the lower item level or damage per second). There's an option to compare both.
- Items you can't use say why in one short line (level, class, armor type, weapon not learned, shields, off-hand weapons without Dual Wield).
- One line tells you when a swap changes how many pieces of an item set you wear.
- Options (/bic): compare without Shift (the game's own setting), average item level, weapon sets, both rings and trinkets, colorblind-friendly colors, and which stats to show.
- Works on WoW Forever, Retail, MoP Classic, Titan, TBC Anniversary and Classic Era.
