Better Housing Controls

Better Housing Controls adds additional controls to expert mode in the housing editor. Addon is still under development, addon is also unfortunately limited by bugs and limitations on WoW's side, more information below.

Translation:

• Adds "nudge" buttons to move decor a tiny distance in one of six directions (Up, Down, Forwards, Backwards, Left, Right)

Rotation:

• Overrides existing arrow buttons to rotate by a single degree on click instead of rotating continuously when mouse button is held down
• Adds "Select Next Axis" button to allow direct selection of rotational axes
• Adds text input for rotating decor to a specific angle
• Undo button which reverts to previous angle (only for rotation done with addon, cannot undo manual rotation)
• Note: WoW currently has a bug where rotation angles are sometimes not displayed correctly. If this bug occurs, it does impact the addon's ability to rotate automatically.

Scale:

• Overrides existing arrow buttons to scale by a single percentage point on click instead of scaling continuously when mouse button is held down
• Adds text input for scaling decor to a specific size
• Undo button which reverts to previous scale (only for scaling done with addon, cannot undo manual scaling)

Future update:

• Planning to update undo button to work for manual rotation and scaling
• Trying to work on ways to overcome WoW's rotation bugs.
