BetterDKP v1.0.5
Settings Sync Overhaul
- Raid leader authority: Only the raid leader can push settings to the raid, preventing conflicts when multiple
officers are online.
- No more auto-push: Changing boss DKP values no longer auto-broadcasts to guild/raid. The raid leader must
explicitly click "Push My Settings" to update everyone.
- Targeted config push: Config settings are sent only to players with detected mismatches (via whisper), not the
entire raid.
- Boss rewards via RAID channel: Boss reward pushes now use RAID broadcast instead of per-player whisper, fixing
an issue where chunked messages could silently fail.
- Combined settings response: Boss rewards are now included in the config check response (single message),
fixing an issue where boss-specific mismatches weren't displayed in the popup.
- Settings mismatch popup: Now shows exactly which boss values differ per player (e.g. "Prince Malchezaar
(normal): 15 (yours: 99)"). Non-leader officers see a hint explaining only the raid leader can push.
Auto Settings Check Improvements
- Re-scan on new members: When new players join the raid, the settings check automatically re-triggers after an
8-second debounce (officer only). Previously it only ran once on initial raid entry.
- Manual CFG Check button: The "Sync" button in the standings frame has been replaced with "Manual CFG Check" —
officers can manually trigger a settings mismatch scan at any time. Works with test mode.
Test Mob Kill Awards
- Configurable test mob: Officers can now set any mob name (e.g. "Shattered Hand Captain") and a DKP value in
Settings > Raid tab. Killing that mob awards DKP to the raid as if it were a boss kill — perfect for testing
before raids are released.
- Auto-save inputs: Boss DKP reward fields and test mob fields now save instantly as you type — no need to press
Enter.
- Test mob syncs: The test mob name and DKP value sync to all raid members via the settings push system.
Bid Frame Improvements
- Fixed post-bid UI: Buttons no longer overlap after a bid ends. Added a "Done" button to dismiss bid results.
- Multi-item queue: After selecting multiple items, click "Next Item" to advance through the queue manually
instead of the old 3-second auto-advance. Queue label shows the next item name.
Logging
- Per-player DKP logs: Raid-wide DKP awards (boss kills, timer awards, manual raid awards) now create individual
log entries for each player, showing "+X DKP earned for Boss: Moroes (Normal)" in their personal log.
