BestPI – Power Infusion Target Scanner

BestPI helps everony quickly identify the best Power Infusion targets in parties and raids.

The addon scans relevant DPS players, reads specialization and item level, and generates ranked reports for Single Target, Cleave, and AoE based on embedded Bloodmallet data. It is built for practical pre-pull decision support and fast target selection without requiring constant manual comparison.

Results Window

The results window is the central control hub of the addon.

It provides:
- Scan button
- Stop button
- Force Fresh Scan toggle
- ST / Cleave / AoE mode buttons
- Sortable result columns
- Compact and expanded view
- Chat output channel selection
- Send Results button

The status of scanned players is displayed visually with icons.
Detailed failure reasons are shown in the expanded view.

Notes

The addon scans players sequentially to work reliably with WoW’s inspect system.
Cached data is kept for the current session and reused until logout or reload, unless Force Fresh Scan is enabled.
A failed inspect result is not treated as valid data.
Bloodmallet data must be maintained in the embedded data files used by the addon.
Report quality depends on the correctness and freshness of the imported Bloodmallet data.
