About the Addon

Welcome to BeastAndBow! I developed this addon to make life in Azeroth easier for us Hunters. My goal was to create a true "All-in-One" tool that fits seamlessly into the game while providing the specific utility we need—without the clutter. Whether you are traversing the Barrens in Classic or exploring the shattered world of Outland in TBC, BeastAndBow has your back.

Key Features

📖 The Bestiary (Enhanced!)

Forget Alt-Tabbing to look up pet stats. BeastAndBow includes a massive, localized in-game encyclopedia:

• Pet Database: Browse every tameable family, sorted by type, color, and name.

• Search System (New!): Instantly find specific beasts or abilities using the new built-in search bar.

• 3D Model Viewer: Preview the beast directly in the UI before you hunt it down.

• Detailed Stats: Instant access to Diet, Attack Speed, Spawn Zones, and Level ranges.

• Skill Browser: Learn which beasts teach specific spell ranks (e.g., Bite Rank 4 or Gore).

• TBC Support: Full database for all Outland creatures, including Ravagers, Warp Stalkers, and more.

🏹 The  Ammo System

Ammo management has never been this effortless.

• Automated Purchasing: Use the new Instinct Button to select your preferred ammunition. Once set, the addon automatically restocks your supplies whenever you talk to a vendor.

• Ammo Swapper: A dedicated UI tool that lets you see all ammunition in your inventory and swap/equip different stacks with a single click.

• Smart Tracker: The real-time counter now intelligently sums up your total equipped ammo count, ignoring secondary types in your bags for a cleaner overview.

• Smart Warning System: A blinking button, warning text, and custom sound alert you when supplies run low.

⚡ One-Click Macro Engine 

Don't struggle with complex syntax.

• Access a library of essential Hunter macros (Steady Shot rotations, Pet Management, Misdirection).

• Create and inject macros directly into your game interface with a single click.

🐾 Pet & Stable Management

• Stable Memory: The addon remembers which pets are "benched" in your stable without needing to visit a Stable Master.

• Vendor Finder: Quickly locate the nearest vendors for specific pet food, Class Trainers, or Stable Masters.

🗺️ Native Navigation System

Integrated custom navigation—no dependency on TomTom required!

• Includes precise coordinate calculations, a custom direction arrow, and map pins to guide you to your targets.

🎨 Design & Usability

• Hunter Aesthetic: The entire UI is themed to match the iconic Hunter class style.

• Compact Mode: A collapsible button reduces the UI to the bare essentials (icon & ammo count).

• Localization: Fully translated in English and German.

• Commands: Use /bab show, /bab hide, or /bab settings for quick access.
