According to tickets, if you:
Battle a pet and capture it
Release caught pet after battle
Type /bpl in chat
After typing /bpl you should see a full list of all pets for that zone. Instead you only see the name of the pet you just released in red.
Type /reload or relogin may slove this problem. I haven't found the the reason.
Fortunately, capture and release a pet immediately is not a usual behavior.
