Description

# BattleComm

**Fast battleground communication without stopping to type.**

BattleComm is a compact one-click callout panel for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Anniversary. It puts short, readable battleground messages at your fingertips so you can report incoming enemies, request help, coordinate movement, and track flag-carrier routes while staying focused on the fight.

Every callout is triggered manually by the player. BattleComm does not automate gameplay or send messages on its own.

## Features

- Compact, movable interface that automatically remembers its position
- Automatic battleground detection on English and German game clients
- Short, consistent English callouts for international battleground groups
- Context-sensitive action menus that keep the main panel small
- Five-second duplicate protection: if the same callout was just posted in Instance Chat, BattleComm suppresses the repeat
- Faction-colored flag-carrier buttons in Warsong Gulch
- No external libraries or required dependencies

## Supported Battlegrounds

### Arathi Basin

- Incoming-enemy reports for every base
- Safe, help, undefended, movement, crowding, and status callouts
- Live display of controlled bases
- Dynamic `Bases needed to win` guidance when Blizzard score data is available
- General reminders for reporting incomings and fighting near objectives

### Warsong Gulch

- Incoming reports for tunnel, ramp, and roof
- Quick routes and location reports for your flag carrier and the enemy flag carrier
- Immediate help, recovery, and flag-pressure calls
- Separate local `Rogue!` warning in Say chat

### Eye of the Storm

- Base-specific incoming, push, empty-base, crowding, and rotation callouts
- Midfield and flag-strategy reminders
- Support for Mage Tower, Draenei Ruins, Fel Reaver Ruins, and Blood Elf Tower

## Commands

- `/bcomm` — show or hide BattleComm
- `/bcomm ab` — open the Arathi Basin panel
- `/bcomm wsg` — open the Warsong Gulch panel
- `/bcomm eots` — open the Eye of the Storm panel
- `/bcomm help` — display the command list

## Chat Behavior

Normal callouts are sent to Instance Chat. BattleComm watches recently received Instance Chat messages and blocks an identical callout for five seconds, helping several BattleComm users coordinate without repeating the same warning.

## Compatibility

- World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Anniversary
- English and German game clients
- No dependencies

BattleComm is currently in active development. Feedback and clear bug reports are welcome.
