BattleComm

BattleComm is a compact information and communication panel for Arathi Basin, Warsong Gulch, and Eye of the Storm.

It turns the current match state into practical recommendations and lets you send short tactical calls to battleground chat with one click. Spend less time typing and more time playing the objective.

Nothing is sent automatically.

What BattleComm Helps You Do

• Read the fight: Combat Power compares both factions using damage, healing, and killing blows.
• Choose important targets: Priority Targets identifies up to two relevant enemy healers and two opponents with exceptional killing-blow performance.
• React to the objective situation: Live guidance considers scores, controlled objectives, contested objectives, and current fighting strength.
• Recognize decisive moments: Battleground-specific calls highlight last chances, close finishes, and effectively decided matches.
• Share useful information: Click the corresponding button to report important match information directly to battleground chat.

Combat Power represents current fighting strength, not win probability. Objective control, positioning, flag play, and timing still decide matches.

Battleground Features

Arathi Basin

• See how many bases your faction needs to win.
• Track controlled and contested objectives at a glance.
• View a projected final score and estimated remaining match time.
• Receive clear recommendations to defend, secure another base, or make an immediate last attempt.

Warsong Gulch

• Compare flag attempts and captures for both factions.
• See how effectively each team converts flag attempts into captures.
• Quickly call for offense, defense, regrouping, flag recovery, or an end to unproductive midfield fighting.

Eye of the Storm

• View a final-score prediction based on the current base-scoring rate.
• Get a fresh prediction whenever base control changes.
• Avoid misleading calls while the match is still too volatile to predict reliably.
• Coordinate base defense, attacks, and flag play with dedicated one-click messages.

Combat Information

BattleComm combines short-term combat activity with performance across the full match.

Relevant enemy healers are identified by player name. Warlock self-healing is excluded, while meaningful healing from hybrid classes can still qualify.

Top Killers are selected primarily by killing-blow performance, supported by damage. High damage alone is not enough to make the list, and the displayed KB count explains why a player was selected.

The Priority Targets button remains compact and can report its current targets directly to battleground chat.

BattleComm’s guidance rules were refined using live battleground experience and checked against more than 2.5 million simulated match states. They cover common situations well, while unusual player behavior and rapidly changing fights can still require personal judgment.

All reports and callouts are triggered manually. BattleComm does not automate gameplay or send tactical messages by itself.

Commands

• /bcomm toggles the panel.

• /bcomm ab, /bcomm wsg, or /bcomm eots opens a battleground profile manually.

• /bcomm help displays command help.

Installation

Extract the release archive into:

World of Warcraft/_anniversary_/Interface/AddOns/

The final path should be:

BattleComm was conceived and directed by a World of Warcraft player and developed with the assistance of generative AI. The project logo was also created using generative AI.
