BattleMaps

BattleMaps is a lightweight World of Warcraft addon for customizing the Blizzard Battleground Zone Map on a per-battleground basis.

It lets you configure the map size, position, zoom, and pan separately for each supported Random Battleground, making it easier to keep the battlefield map in a useful location without constantly adjusting it by hand.

Supported Battlegrounds

BattleMaps currently focuses on the standard Random Battleground pool:

Seething Shore
Deephaul Ravine

Epic Battlegrounds are intentionally not included yet.

Usage

Open the options window with:

/bmap

or:

/bg

Select a battleground from the dropdown, then click Configure.

While in configure mode, you can:

drag the BattleMaps bar to move the map;
use the resize handle to resize the map;
zoom and pan the Blizzard map normally;
click Save to store the current layout;
click Apply to restore the saved layout;
click Reset to restore a centered default layout.
