# Banana Killer v1.2 Release Notes

Banana Killer v1.2 makes the Banana Meter clearer, more raid-friendly, and easier to manage during real gameplay.

## Highlights

- Added full raid-wide Banana Meter sharing so raid groups compete across the whole raid, not just the player’s small raid subgroup.
- Added a raid/group detection line on the Banana Meter, such as `Banana Killer users detected in raid: 7/40`.
- Added a small version label directly on the Banana Meter so players can see they are running `v1.2`.
- Added automatic new-rank announcements to the player’s selected Share Max channels.
- Removed the visible Instance option from Share Max channel configuration to keep comms simpler.

## Banana Meter

- The meter now shows whether Banana Killer users are detected in a raid or group.
- Detected user counts update in the meter and print a short chat message when the count changes.
- The meter keeps its group-aware look for solo, grouped, paused, and sitting-out states.
- The version number now appears inside the meter window.

## Group And Raid Behavior

- Raid sharing now prefers the Raid channel before instance or party channels.
- In raids, Banana Killer treats the whole raid as the competition pool.
- In parties, Banana Killer still uses normal group behavior.
- Players are still asked whether they want to join the group Banana Meter instead of being reset automatically.

## Sharing And Announcements

- Share Max channel choices now include Say, Yell, Party, Raid, and Guild.
- New rank announcements use the same selected Share Max channels.
- Unavailable channels are skipped automatically.

## Notes

- All players must have Banana Killer installed and addon sharing enabled to appear in the detected user count.
- Players should `/reload` or relog after installing v1.2.
