# BagTriage

Bags full while looting? BagTriage helps you decide what to remove without blindly deleting something valuable.

When an item cannot be looted because your inventory is full, BagTriage displays the item waiting on the corpse and analyzes your bags. Possible deletion candidates are ranked from the lowest to the highest guaranteed vendor value.

## Safety First

BagTriage never deletes items automatically. Every deletion requires a deliberate click, and sensitive items require additional confirmation.

The addon uses several safety rules:

- Quest items and equipment-set items are excluded.
- Profession materials, recipes, fishing poles and crafting tools are kept in a separate last-resort list.
- Soulbound equipment is distinguished from equipment that may still be sold at the Auction House.
- Uncertain or potentially valuable items default to protected.
- Items manually protected by the player are excluded.
- The exact item, stack and bag position are checked again immediately before deletion.
- Low-level basic food and drinks can be identified as disposable, while potions and buff food remain protected.

## Clear Inventory Categories

Candidates are displayed in three independent lists:

- **Vendor Only** — grey items, white equipment, bound equipment and other items whose reliable value is their vendor price.
- **Auction House Possible** — unbound equipment that may have resale value.
- **Situational / Protected** — consumables and other items requiring extra care.

Each list is sorted by guaranteed vendor value, from cheapest to most expensive.

Profession-related items are hidden from the normal suggestions and can only be viewed through the dedicated **Professions: Last Resort** button.

## Auctionator and TradeSkillMaster Support

Auctionator and TradeSkillMaster are optional.

BagTriage always treats Auction House prices as estimates, never as guaranteed sales:

- Vendor value remains the primary sorting value.
- Auctionator prices are displayed as single-source listings.
- TSM can provide regional sale averages, sale rates and daily sale volumes.
- Suspicious, outdated or contradictory market prices are clearly flagged.
- Auction House estimates never override item safety rules.

BagTriage works normally without either addon.

## Loot Assistance

- Automatically opens when looting fails because the inventory is full.
- Displays the item currently waiting to be looted.
- Supports corpses and containers containing multiple items.
- Automatically moves to the next remaining item after a successful replacement.
- Includes a **Skip** button when you do not want the current item.
- Ignores already-looted slots and unavailable quest surplus.
- Closes the loot window when the interaction is finished.

## Commands

- `/bt` or `/bagtriage` — manually scan your bags.
- `/bt reset` — clear your personal protection list.
- `/bt help` — display command help.
