What's new

Fixes

  • By item type: selling an item keeps the cursor in that item's group instead of dropping to the Empty group; if it was the last item of its type, the cursor moves up to the end of the previous group.

Updates

  • New Feature: DataPad allows you to view your alts bags/banks while not on those characters.
  • Colored icons for Playstation/Nintendo
  • Updates to the Settings pages
  • Other UI

DataPad updates and fixes

  • The alt view and the bank window follow Options > Look (background and opacity) like the bags, header and detail panel, and change with it at once.
  • BagPad now caches, for every character, the bags (backpack, bags, reagent bag, keyring), bank, equipped gear, money and currency, plus the Warband bank, in one account-wide store (BagPadDB.broker, not tied to a profile). Bank and Warband bank are read while their window is open.
  • RB (in the bags) flips the detail panel to the DataPad: where the focused item is across your characters; RB again returns to the item. LB on the DataPad page goes straight back to the item.
  • A character button in the header (next to cleanup and options) opens a list of your characters; picking one shows their bags as a last-known snapshot over the bag frame, with their name, money and free space in the header, as if you had opened the bags on them. Closing the bags goes back to your own. The detail panel describes the selected item, and RB shows where else it is. The old Account page is gone; so are its currency, item level and bank-space lines for now.
  • Gold is also saved whenever the header shows it, and never overwritten with 0 at logout.

Other

  • "B closes unfocused bags" is no longer a setting: it is always on (a saved profile's old value is dropped).
  • On / off settings are now switches (green with the knob right when on). Only A (or a click) flips one; left / right on the D-pad no longer does.
  • Colored face buttons now have BagPad's own PlayStation (dark button, blue cross / red circle / pink square / green triangle) and Nintendo (colored button, black letter: yellow B, red A, green Y, blue X) images. When off Blizzard's plain art is.
  • Options > Panels has sub menus across the top (Header, Detail panel, DataPad, Buttons).
    • The options window now opens on its first section with the controller on the sidebar: up / down picks a section, A goes in, LB / RB switch the sub menus, B goes back to the sidebar (and closes from there), X closes. Sections without sub menus still use LB / RB to switch sections.
  • Dots along the bottom of the detail panel show which page RB is on (the current one bigger and gold). Closing the bags returns the panel to the item.
  • A bank button in the header (and /bp bank [name]) opens a window with a character's bank and the character's bank as last seen at the bank, so you can look through them anywhere.
    • LB / RB step through the bank bags
    • X goes to the next character
    • B or Y closes it. With the bags open, the selected bank item is described in the detail panel.
  • Item tooltips and the detail panel list how many your other characters and the bank have (Options > Panels turns each off).
  • Public API for other addons (BagPadAPI, docs/DATA-API.md) and a LibDataBroker feed (gold, free slots). /bp datapad lists what's cached, /bp datapad forget <name> removes a character.
