What's new

Changelog

2.3.0

  • The compass cross, a new tickbox in the settings: four lines out of your character across the whole screen, one per quarter, each pointing into its quarter and wearing that quarter's marker color, the leader's synced icons included. They turn with you off the minimap compass, so a called quarter is always a glance away even mid scramble. The game seals the angle it turns by, the addon draws it without ever reading it, so recording stays by hand and nothing here brings automatic back
  • A Cross shows switch next to it picks between drawing the cross for the whole delve or only from the first wave of a Sermon to the last echo. Either way the cross keeps your minimap rotating while you are in the delve, that is what its compass runs on, and puts it back the way it was when you leave
  • /azt cross toggles it from chat, /azt crossy lifts the crossing onto your character and /azt crosshole sizes the empty circle that keeps your character visible under it

2.2.0

  • Automatic recording is cut out of the addon instead of just sitting greyed. The Recording switch, the minimap rotation setting, the recording ping, the ring warning with its diagnostics, the misrecorded route warning and the /azt manual, /azt ring and /azt badroute commands are all gone, and the saved leftovers they kept are cleaned up on the first load. What stays is the delve entry notice saying the August 25 patch killed the mode, once per account
  • The room view holds north up and the arrow reads as if you face the boss, which is what both already did on the broken build, only now that is the whole story rather than the fallback. A minimap rotation the old version lent and could not return, a crash inside the delve could leave one hanging, is put back on the first login

2.1.13

  • The word is final: the August 25 patch broke automatic recording and nothing survived to rebuild it on. The delve entry notice says so now, once for everyone on the broken client build, with a single button switching to recording by hand. The old entry offer for automatic is retired, the Recording switch greys out once you are on by hand with the reason in its tooltip, and the instructions skip the automatic paragraph. Older clients keep a working automatic and hear nothing
  • Marking and calling stopped leaving the character mid fight, the patch silenced the chat and marker lines behind the keys while the answers themselves still land, so solo recording is untouched. For party play, real macros pressed from your bars still pass: a Write macros button in the Party settings makes four for the character, one per quarter, each answering the wave and carrying your marking and calling. They follow your icons, style and role on their own once written
  • The /azt ring report is plain chat lines again, the copyable box went with the investigation it served
  • Rotate minimap in the delve left the settings on the broken build and the addon no longer touches the rotation there, since the facing read that option fed is what the patch poisoned. The compass arrow flavor and the turning room view go quiet with it

2.1.12

  • The /azt ring report turns the minimap rotation on for its reading when it finds it off in the delve, lent the usual way and returned when you leave. A report taken with the rotation off could only ever show a still ring, which proved nothing about the patch

2.1.11

  • Automatic recording can ping as it writes each wave down, a new tickbox in the Recording settings, off unless you turn it on. The sound is the game's own map ping, and a wave that could not read your facing stays silent, so the silence tells you something went wrong
  • /azt ring opens its report in a box you can copy from, with the addon version and the client build on the first line, on top of the chat lines it always printed
  • A one time notice on the way into the delve about the August 25 US patch reports, with buttons to switch to recording by hand and to open the ring report

2.1.10

  • Opening a dialog that was already on screen, the Recording problems one say, stacked a hidden copy per click and each wanted its own Got it. Asking for the same box again just redraws it now

2.1.9

  • The slim room view wears the addon name just above its border, so anyone watching a stream can tell what the board is
  • The Options, Info and News buttons leave the room view for the duration of a fight and come back after

2.1.8

  • The last pull survives a reload, a disconnect and a relog. /azt review and /azt replay used to come up empty after any of those, which is exactly when you want to look at what happened, and now they reach back to the route and the death from before it
  • The News box catches you up on every note you have not read yet rather than only the latest, each under its version number, and an All notes button reads the whole history back. Long reads scroll under the mouse wheel inside the box instead of growing it past the screen

2.1.7

  • The New button on the room view is called News now, which is what it is
  • The settings page kept refreshing itself on every game setting change after it had been opened once, even with the settings window closed, because closing the window hides its container and leaves the page's own flag set. It checks whether it is on screen now, so the refresh only runs while you are looking at it

2.1.6

  • Every window has a size of its own now. A Sizes section in the settings, over the locks, carries a slider each for the arrow, the countdown, the route board and the room view, from half size to double. A window follows its bar as you drag it, and keeps the spot you put it at, growing or shrinking around that spot rather than drifting off
  • The slim room view carries a small Info button in its bottom right corner, the same Instructions page the full view has on its strip, so the two no longer differ in what you can reach from them. New installs start with the slim view, anyone who already has the addon keeps whatever they had
  • A New button in the room view's bottom left corner opens a short note on what the latest version changed, with a link into the settings where it applies. An orange exclamation mark sits beside it until the note has been read, then goes away until a later version has something to say

2.1.5

  • The misrecorded route warning learned some manners. From its third appearance over your corpse it carries a Stop telling me button, and clicking that mutes the corpse showings for good. Reading it stays a click away either way, the Recording problems button and /azt badroute ignore the mute

2.1.4

  • If your cues play from the test buttons but vanish mid fight, the likely culprit is the game's Audio Channels setting: a low mixer culls addon sounds first, right at the loudest moment, which is when the cues speak. The cue settings now carry that number as an Audio channels slider of their own, the game's setting moved from either place, with a red line under it while it sits low enough to matter, and the addon says the same once in chat on the way into the delve. The text to speech voices were never affected, they speak outside the game's audio entirely

2.1.3

  • The in-game instructions shrank to a quarter of what they were. Four short steps in playing order, the fight, recording, the echoes, practice, each with a gold heading, instead of nine paragraphs trying to say everything. The detail still lives where you use it, in each setting's tooltip, and the practice drill teaches the loop better than reading ever did

2.1.2

  • The misrecorded route warning can be read without earning it first. A Recording problems button sits with the route buttons in the settings, and /azt badroute opens the same box from chat, the one that otherwise waits for a wipe on a doubled route

2.1.1

  • The tutorial picture went on a diet, a third of the size it was with nothing visible changed. The download shrinks by the same amount

2.1.0

  • The route board is no longer follower-only. Solo route board in the settings, off unless you tick it, puts the same strip up for your own recording: it fills as the waves get answered during the Sermon, whether you press the keys or automatic writes them down, then steps through the echoes with the current safe spot big on the left and the rest trailing right, ? for waves nobody answered. It speaks whatever quarter language you set, markers or arrows, and the practice drill runs across it too
  • In a party nothing moves: while you follow a leader their calls own the board exactly as before, and the lock row keeps working for both

2.0.8

  • Switching to automatic recording now comes with a picture. A small page opens right after you turn it on, from the entry offer, the settings or /azt manual, showing a screenshot with the safe quarter glowing in a red box and two sentences on the one rule that matters: face the boss, because the quarter behind you is what gets written down
  • If you die on an automatically recorded route that holds the same quarter twice in a row, which the boss never calls, a warning says the route could not be right and shows the same picture. Doubled quarters are the mark of dodging with your back to him, so the addon says it where it is felt, over the corpse, and the next pull records fresh

2.0.7

  • Automatic recording survives SexyMap with Show North Tag unticked. That setting hides the compass ring and rigs it so that showing it hides it again, which turned the addon's own keep-alive against it and froze the facing. The ring is now revived through a route the rigging cannot touch. SexyMap's default settings were never affected, and the same route covers any other minimap addon pulling the same trick

2.0.6

  • The frozen compass ring box cleans up after itself. It opens with the idle case first, since standing still for a while looks exactly like a dead ring: spin once and, the moment the ring turns, the box closes on its own with a chat line saying automatic can see your facing again. The ring turning once also settles the question for the whole session. An "I was idle, check again" button asks for another look in 25 seconds instead of sending you off to fix a minimap that is fine, and the box waits out combat rather than landing mid-pull

2.0.5

  • When automatic recording finds the compass ring frozen, it opens a box instead of three chat lines. The box says the ring is not turning so the addon cannot see your facing, names the minimap addons it can see loaded (Leatrix Plus, EllesmereUI's minimap module, SexyMap and the others it knows by name, or says none of the known ones are), and tells you the way out: turn that minimap module off, reload and set Recording to Automatic again, or switch to recording by hand right there with the button. Once a session, and the chat line still comes for players recording by hand with the rotation on

2.0.4

  • Automatic recording works with EllesmereUI's minimap now, the suite module and the standalone one alike. 2.0.1 brought the compass ring back when a skin hid it, but Ellesmere hides the frame the ring hangs off rather than the ring itself, and a ring under a hidden frame stops turning however its own flag reads. The addon now keeps the ring and everything hidden above it shown but transparent while it reads the facing in the delve, and puts all of it back on the way out
  • Inside the delve with Recording on Automatic, the minimap rotation now stays on whoever turns it off, not only when the addon lent it. A minimap addon that writes its own rotation setting (EllesmereUI does, at login and after every fight) could switch it off under a player who had turned it on by hand, and the room view stopped turning with nothing said. It goes back on the moment the addon notices, with one chat line, and is returned on the way out like a lent one. A first visit still gets the offer box, the reassert only kicks in once rotation has been on during the visit
  • Rotate minimap in the delve is a setting of its own now, right under the Recording switch. Automatic keeps it on, since it reads your facing off that rotation, and the row greys out saying so. By hand it is your call: on, and the addon turns the rotation on when you walk in and back off when you leave, so the room view turns with you and the arrow aims from where you actually stand, the same as in automatic. Off, and it never touches your minimap. The "One setting to turn on" box is gone with it, automatic lends the rotation on the way in
  • /azt ring prints what the facing reader sees: recording mode, the rotation setting, whether the compass ring is shown and turning, the facing it reads and which known minimap addons are loaded. If the room view will not turn, paste that line when you report it

2.0.3

  • The sliding switches in the settings were invisible for everyone who installed from CurseForge or Wago, the two svg files that draw them never made it into the zip. They ship now
  • The updates note that greeted you on the first delve entry is gone, along with its Updates button in the settings. Walking in goes straight to the automatic recording offer, which is shorter too, and the Instructions button on the room view carries everything else

2.0.2

  • The minimap rotation did not reliably come back on by itself on the next visit. The addon remembered the automatic choice on the way out of the delve but then second guessed it on every zone change in the world, where the rotation is already back off, so by the time you walked in again it had forgotten and only flipping Recording back and forth brought it up. It decides once, on the way out, and leaves it alone after that

2.0.1

  • Automatic recording kept working with Leatrix Plus's square minimap but not with EllesmereUI's Minimap module, which hides the compass ring again and turns the minimap rotation back off after every fight. The addon now puts both back the moment it notices, inside the delve only and only for a rotation it lent itself, and says so in chat once. The Updates note has an addon interference paragraph naming the two skins it knows about, and Record by hand always works regardless

2.0.0

  • Automatic recording is back, as a choice. Set Recording to Automatic in the settings, or /azt manual to flip it from chat, and the addon reads which way you face off the minimap and writes down where you stood for every wave while you dodge, nothing to press during the Sermon. Recording by hand stays the default and works exactly as before
  • It needs your minimap set to rotate with you. The addon offers automatic recording once, in the delve and out of combat, and turns the rotation on for you if you say yes. The rotation is only lent: it goes back to still when you leave the delve, and if you left in automatic with it on, the next visit turns it on again on the way in without asking. Flip the switch with a still minimap and it offers the same fix, and it says so in chat when a channel starts with no facing to read
  • The quarter keys, marking and calling belong to recording by hand and stand down while the route records itself, with the settings rows saying why they are greyed. A practice sermon is a keys drill either way
  • The room view turns with you while your minimap rotates, so the quarter you are facing is the one at the top of the view. With a fixed minimap it holds north up as before
  • The arrow points where the move really is, whichever way you are looking, and it aims from the quarter you are actually in rather than the one the route says you should be in. Fall a wave behind and it still points somewhere useful
  • The arrow turns green once you are standing in the called quarter, in your own colour until then. Without the rotating minimap it falls back to the boss-relative directions, where up means straight through him, and stays one colour
  • The countdown says "recording wave 2" while the addon records on its own, so you can see it keeping up, and the room view lights the quarter it reads you in

1.7.5

  • The marker voice can call colours instead of shapes, as asked. Tick Say marker colors under the spoken cues and it says yellow, orange, purple, green, silver, blue or red for the safe quarter rather than star, circle and so on. Skull has no colour and stays skull. The test buttons say whatever the voice would

1.7.4

  • The last paragraph of the in-game instructions had lost a few words in an edit and read like a note to self. It says what it meant to again

1.7.3

  • The arrow colour is a row like the rest of the settings now, Arrow color on the left and a small button on the right that shows the chosen colour as a dot beside its name, so you see the colour instead of reading it. Picking from the menu retints the dot on the spot

1.7.2

  • A tidier settings panel. The switches sit on one line each now, label on the left and pill on the right at the same height as a checkbox row, so they stop looking like section headings, and every row in a column starts its text on the same line and ends its control on the same line, the key buttons included. Quarter names moved up above the marking and role rows, which keeps leader and follower together, the route buttons pair up two to a row so the page fits without scrolling and the marker voice button trims a long voice name to fit. Section titles stopped looking like just another row too, each is a small white label over a thin rule with some air above it, so where one group ends and the next begins is plain at a glance
  • A greyed out setting now says why. Hover it and the tooltip ends with the lock reason, following the leader for the arrow and recorded cues, Spoken cues being off for the voice rows, Turns keys for marking and calling, not leading for the call box and so on. Speak the leader's calls also greys out again when Follow the leader goes off, it used to stay live with nothing to read

1.7.1

  • Three more settings that pick between two ways of doing a thing became sliding switches like the arrow's: the answer keys between Quarters and Turns, the quarter names between Markers and Arrows and the room view between Full and Slim. Nothing about them changed but the control. Both words sit either side of the pill and the one not chosen goes grey
  • The answer keys and room view clicks now do nothing outside the delve. They used to record a route from anywhere in the world and say so in chat, which was a fine way to fill the chat while questing with the keys bound. A practice drill still takes answers wherever you run it
  • A practice or replay that had to open the room view closes it again when it is done or stopped, instead of leaving the room on screen out in the world. Show or hide it by hand in the meantime and it stays the way you put it

1.7.0

  • The cues can name markers now, the most asked-for thing since the voice went in. A new Cue voice switch under the spoken cues picks between Relative, the recorded voice calling forward, left, right or stay, and Markers, the game's text to speech naming the safe quarter's marker instead, star, square, whatever each quarter wears on the room view. No facing assumption in it at all, so it does not care which way you look. Waves nobody answered stay silent like always, and a machine without text to speech falls back to the turn words rather than going quiet mid-fight
  • The test buttons follow the choice. The same cross that auditions forward, left, right and stay doubles as a compass rose on the marker voice, each button wearing its quarter's marker name, and changing a quarter's icon on the room view relabels them on the spot
  • The channel button and the volume slider follow it too. On the marker voice the button picks which of the machine's text to speech voices does the talking, each pick saying a word so it can be judged right there, and the slider becomes the text to speech volume. The follower voice for the leader's calls speaks with the same pick and volume
  • Turning the spoken cues off now greys everything under it, the voice pick, the test buttons, the channel and the volume, instead of leaving live controls for a voice that will not speak
  • The arrow's compass toggle became a sliding two state switch, Relative on one side and Compass on the other. The pill and knob are svg art, which the 12.1 client renders straight from disk, with a plain drawn stand-in on clients that cannot

1.6.0

  • Answer in relative turns, a new way to record for anyone who thinks in moves rather than map directions. With the toggle on, your quarter keys say the move you made instead of the place you ended up, read the same way the arrow and the voice already speak: north is straight through the boss, east and west are your right and left as you face him. The first wave still names its quarter, since there is nothing behind it to turn from, and that is where the route starts. South sits idle after that, because the safe spot never lands in the same quarter twice in a row. Marking and calling need a named quarter, so they switch off while the toggle is on. /azt turns flips it from chat, room view clicks keep naming quarters in both modes

  • The Preview button grew into a full practice drill. It now runs a pretend sermon on the room view, seven waves with the safe quarter green and the rest red, and you answer each one with your keys or clicks exactly like a real pull, relative turns included. A short countdown opens it, saying along the way whether your keys are answering turns or compass quarters, so your hands are on the right keys before wave one. The echoes that follow play back whatever you recorded, it tells you how many of the seven you got right, and /azt practice starts the same drill from chat. The route is random every time, so it stays a memory drill rather than a memorized one

  • Two guards against slipped keys, in both modes. A second press of the same key within a second or so is dropped as one fumbled press, since real waves never come that fast, and an answer that would repeat the quarter next to it is refused outright, because the boss never calls the same quarter twice in a row

  • Speak the leader's calls now greys out unless following is on, since the voice only ever has the leader's calls to read

  • The four direction arrows are a quarter language of their own, picked from the same menu as the markers on the room view or from the settings. Take it and every quarter reads as its arrow instead of a shape, on the room view, the countdown and the arrow itself. It is all four or none, since a follower has no way to tell one call's language from another's. Marking yourself still uses the quarter's marker, a target icon being the only thing the game will put on a player

  • A leader on the arrows calls the route in words, Up, Right, Down and Left, with the room read north up like the room view draws it. Followers see arrows on their board rather than marker icons, and the words mean something to party members without the addon as well. The choice travels with the leader's icon sync, so every board knows what it is drawing before the pull

  • Speak the leader's calls, a new option for followers: each call read out loud as its echo comes up, in the game's own text to speech voice. It waits on the leader calling directions, since a voice reading a marker number out tells you nothing about where to run. The old recorded cues are Solo spoken cues now, so the two voices are never mistaken for each other, and they keep to your own recorded route like they always did

  • Fresh installs start on star north, square east, triangle south and circle west, four shapes that stay apart at a glance. Anyone who already has the addon keeps the markers they picked

  • The settings panel scrolls now, so a long column cannot run off the bottom of the canvas. The route buttons moved under the sound settings on the left and the Updates button sits on the right, which gives the party rows the room they needed

1.4.0

  • Party play. When you lead a party in the delve, the new Call the route option makes your answer keys also call each quarter's marker number in party chat, one press answering, marking and calling together. The calls go through the game's own macro system, so nothing ever sends on its own. Only the leader can call, and the addon offers the role when you take the lead
  • Follow the leader is the other side: the leader's calls show as marker icons on a route board and on the wave countdown, timed off the boss like always. In the fight chat is sealed to addons, so the calls can be shown but never read. That is why the arrow and the spoken cues lock off while following, with your own settings returning untouched when you stop, and why party chat during the fight should stay quiet, since stray lines land on the board as garbage
  • The route board collects the calls while the leader records, then walks the echoes with the current call drawn big and pinned at the board's left edge while the rest trails smaller to the right. Draggable and lockable like the other windows, and parked it shows a stand-in marker where the live call will sit. It parks in the delve whenever following is on, no party needed, so it can be placed ahead of the group forming
  • The leader's quarter icons sync to the party between fights, so every member's room view, countdown and board speak the leader's icon language. Display only, everyone's own picks stay saved
  • /azt call and /azt follow toggle the two modes from chat. The modes are one or the other, switching one on switches the other off, and the roles come from leadership: call refuses anyone who is not leading, follow refuses the leader, and the settings grey the box your role rules out. A follow toggle left on while you lead sits inert and comes back when the lead moves on
  • Outside the delve the addon now does nothing at all: no events, no listeners, everything asleep until you zone in. /azt anywhere overrides the detection and treats where you stand as the boss room, kept for the day Blizzard renumbers the delve and the addon stops recognizing it
  • Answer keys mark me, a new option: each press of a quarter key also puts that quarter's marker on you, through the game's own target marker system, so your party can follow your moves with no addon of their own. It uses whatever icon the quarter wears on the room view and only arms inside the delve. The wiring locks when a fight starts, so the sermon answers set markers as well as the echo moves, note this is not automatic, just something to help you mark yourself for your friends
  • The settings panel grew into sections and a second column. The windows and the spoken cues sit on the left while the quarter keys, the party options, the window locks and the route buttons sit on the right
  • The spoken cues are out of beta. They have behaved since 1.3.6, so the label was only scaring people off
  • When a cue cannot play, the message now names the sound channel it tried, since a channel disabled in the sound options is the usual reason. And switching channels warns anew instead of staying quiet for the rest of the session

1.3.8

  • The quarter marker menus work on a locked room view now, out of combat. The lock still blocks dragging and still lets fight clicks pass through, it just stopped taking the icon menus down with it

1.3.7

  • The quarter you answer flashes for a moment, keyed or clicked, so you know the press landed without taking your eyes off the fight
  • Answer presses during the pull only count in the Sermon and the echoes now. A stray press in the dead moments used to sneak an extra wave onto the route and confuse the countdown. Sketching a route by hand between pulls stays as it was

1.3.6

  • The compass arrow no longer silences the spoken cues. 1.3.4 muted them in that mode while the cue toggle still said ON, which came back in reports as broken audio. The cues now keep playing, spoken as if you face the boss like always
  • In their place a question box explains the pairing the first time you tick the compass arrow: the arrow reads the map while the voice reads you, and you choose whether the cues stay on or go. Anyone already running the compass skips the question and keeps whatever their cue toggle already says
  • The Preview windows button in the settings plays the memory game now: three pretend waves run through the room view, the countdown and the arrow on the real cadence, calls included. The old static preview and /azt preview are gone, watching the pretend run is how you drag the windows into place now

1.3.5

  • Naming conventions unified, like the the main window is now referred to as Room View everywhere, and marking a safe zone is now referred to as Answer

1.3.4

  • Compass arrow in the settings, for anyone who does not keep the boss in front of them. The arrow points the way the room view points and carries that quarter's marker below it, so it tells you the compass direction to run in. The spoken cues stay quiet in that mode, since forward and left only mean something in the old relative mode
  • The quarter's marker under the arrow draws bigger, in both modes
  • The parked arrow before the pull says which reading you are on, relative or compass
  • One name per thing now, everywhere. The window is the room view, not the board or the radar, the slices are quarters, what you record is the route and you answer a wave rather than mark or input it. The keybinds read Answer north and so on, and keys you already bound carry over
  • Direction cues go by spoken cues now, same feature, same /azt cue

1.3.3

  • The quarters now by default select markers. triangle north, square east, cross south, circle west, which is /wm 2, /wm 1, /wm 4 and /wm 6 for the matching flares
  • Click a marker out of combat to change it or put the letter back
  • The map art behind the room view starts off now
  • The room view says "keybinds not set" while any of the four section keys is still unbound
  • Slim room view in the settings cuts the window down to the room itself, dropping the title, the Instructions button and the compass letters
  • Tidier default window positions on a fresh install

1.3.2

  • /azt replay calls each step as it comes up. It used to hold the call until the step was nearly over, which put the voice about three seconds later than a real pull and made it sound a step behind
  • The arrow points at your feet through the Sermon, so the moment it swings to the first call you know the echoes have started

1.3.1

  • The arrow holds one color the whole way through an echo phase, and you pick which one in the settings panel. Gold, red, green, white, cyan or violet, with gold leaving the artwork as it was painted
  • The red and green states are gone. Green was meant for the moment a wave lands, and the encounter hides that moment, so it almost never arrived and the arrow sat red regardless
  • The parked arrow out of combat wears your color too, dimmed, so you can see what you are picking while you pick it
  • The arrow stops pointing when an echo runs well past the spacing the ones before it set, instead of holding a call that is not coming
  • The instructions no longer promise the voice half a second of warning. That timing needs the boss's cast bar, which the encounter keeps hidden, so the call lands when the echo starts instead

1.3.0

  • Since a 12.1 build the game hands out no coordinates inside the delve, so everything that read where you stand stopped working there. You record the route yourself now. During the Sermon press a section key or /azt n, /azt e, /azt s, /azt w for the quarter you run to, one press per wave, and the echoes play your recording back as before
  • Four new key bindings, one per section. They replace the old capture key, which needed to read your position to know what to record. Set them in the game's Key Bindings screen or straight from the addon's settings, and the quarters on the room view are clickable during the memory game too, for mouse people
  • The countdown window says "input wave 2" while a recording window is open, and a wave you skip shows as unknown through the echoes
  • Answers land in order. Miss one and your next press catches it up, so two quick taps get you level again, and a wave still blank when the echoes start can be filled until its own echo plays. You cannot answer a wave that has not happened yet
  • /azt review counts the waves you never answered, and says so plainly when one of them is what killed you
  • The arrow works again during the echoes. It cannot see where you stand, so it walks the recorded order instead, showing the move out of the quarter the last wave left you in, in the same forward, left, right or stay terms as the spoken cues. It trusts the recording, so if you fell behind it points from where you should have been
  • The spoken cues follow the recorded route the same way, so they work again too. The settings panel has a volume slider beside the channel button, which is the game's own volume for that channel, so it shows the real level and moving it moves the sound options with it
  • Talking Head is gone from the cue channel list. It was never a channel the game accepts, and anyone left on it moves to Master
  • The view mode switch is gone. The room view sits still now, centered on the room with north up, since the moving views needed a readable position
  • Each quarter on the room view wears the key that records it, so you can read the board instead of remembering which key is which. During the memory game the quarter under your cursor lights up, so a click lands where you meant it
  • Click a section letter on the room view to show a world marker icon there instead, for players who drop marker flags in the quarters. A small arrow marks the letters as clickable while you are out of combat, and the menus step aside during the fight so they cannot swallow a click meant for recording. An icon you pick now shows everywhere the addon names that quarter, on the countdown, on the arrow and in the chat lines, not only on the board
  • An Instructions button on the room view, in place of the old question mark in the corner. It opens a page explaining how the recording and the callouts work, and /azt help opens the same page
  • Placement mode is called preview now, since holding the windows on screen is what it actually does. The button says whether it is on, and /azt preview is the command. /azt place still works
  • A wipe clears the recorded route from the room view instead of leaving the dead run up. /azt review and /azt replay still remember it
  • A notice explains the change once when you enter the delve
  • The automatic recording mode, the move warning and the player marker on the room view are gone. All three needed to see where you stand, and none of them could survive the change. /azt cap, /azt manual and /azt spin went with them

1.2.1

  • Direction cues, in beta for now: half a second before each echo wave lands the addon speaks where the safe quarter is from where you stand, forward, left, right or stay. The calls assume you are looking at the boss in the middle of the room. The options panel has the toggle (also /azt cue), test buttons for the four sounds and a choice of which sound channel they play through
  • /azt replay speaks the calls too, so you can hear them between pulls while walking the route

1.1.1

  • The arrow now shows your state by color: red while you still need to move, green once you stand in the safe quarter. While you are safe it points ahead at the next quarter so you can start the move early, and points down at you when there is nothing left to pre-move for
  • Smaller download: the textures are compressed now and the addon list icon is sized to what the game actually draws
  • Removed the quadrant grid rotation toggle. The default layout matches the fight, so the switch only existed to be pressed by accident

1.1.0

  • Wave countdown in its own draggable window: how long until the current wave lands, both while recording and during the echoes
  • MOVE warning turns the countdown red while you stand in a quadrant that is about to get hit
  • Safe-spot arrow: a draggable quest-style arrow pointing at the called quadrant, with a green check while you stand in it, parked dimmed in the delve before the pull
  • Every floating window has a padlock in its corner: locked windows can't be dragged and clicks pass through them
  • The room view got an opts button, and its map and view mode controls moved into the settings panel
  • The room view now defaults to being centered on you
  • Spots recorded while you were crossing quadrants now carry a ? mark, so you know which calls to trust less
  • /azt review shows what the last pull recorded and where you died
  • /azt replay walks the last route through the room view on its real timings, for practice between pulls
  • Settings panel (/azt options, also reachable from the addon compartment)
  • /azt place shows the countdown and the arrow anywhere, for dragging them into place before you ever pull
  • The display clears a couple of seconds after the last echo lands, instead of hanging around for ten
  • The addon carries its own icon in the addon list now
  • The room view can be hidden from the options panel, and stays hidden until you bring it back

1.0.1

  • The room view header now shows the addon name instead of the zone, in a slightly bigger font

1.0.0

  • Initial release
