Description

Azeroth Instinct

Azeroth Instinct remembers every fight—especially the ones you barely survived.

Azeroth Instinct is a personal survival companion for World of Warcraft Classic Era, official Hardcore realms, and Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary.

It learns from the encounters your character actually experiences, watches combat as it unfolds, recommends realistic survival actions when danger rises, and helps you understand what happened after the fight.

It is not a rotation helper, damage meter, or artificial “chance to survive” calculator. Its purpose is simpler:

Notice danger early, offer one useful action, and help you learn from every close call.

Personal Encounter Memory

Azeroth Instinct builds a personal history for hostile creatures you have fought, including:

  • Number of encounters
  • Average fight duration
  • Health lost
  • Lowest health reached
  • Most significant incoming ability
  • Maximum number of enemies
  • Encounter context
  • Confidence based on collected experience

When you target a creature you have encountered before, a compact Target Memory Card presents what your character has learned.

Live Survival Forecast

During combat, Azeroth Instinct evaluates:

  • Current and recent health changes
  • Incoming hit size and attack cadence
  • Expected next impact
  • Multiple attackers
  • Healing and recovery
  • Combat momentum
  • Personal encounter history

The Forecast progresses through restrained states:

Observing → Stable → Uncertain → Dangerous → Escape Now

Warnings are intentionally conservative during combat, but post-combat reviews use stricter evidence so ordinary fights are not falsely labelled as close calls.

Situational Escape Guidance

When combat becomes dangerous, the Escape Ladder recommends one realistic survival action and, when appropriate, one quiet backup.

It considers:

  • Class abilities
  • Pet abilities
  • Racials
  • Consumables
  • Cooldowns
  • Resources
  • Range
  • Cast and effect time
  • Forms and stances
  • Required shields, reagents, or pets
  • Whether the action can help before the expected next impact

Azeroth Instinct does not simply display every possible cooldown. It tries to identify the action that makes the most sense right now.

Close-Call Review

After a genuinely dangerous encounter, Azeroth Instinct can show:

  • The turning point
  • Lowest health reached
  • Expected incoming impact
  • The recommended survival option
  • What action you actually used
  • Emergency resources that were ready
  • Resources that were unavailable, too slow, blocked, or on cooldown

Reviews appear only for real close calls or when the player responds quickly to a specific escape recommendation.

Death Reconstruction

When the character dies, Azeroth Instinct reconstructs the final moments of the encounter using a selected timeline from the last 30 seconds.

The timeline can include:

  • Enemies joining
  • Major incoming hits
  • Enemy casts
  • Healing
  • Forecast transitions
  • Escape recommendations
  • Player responses
  • Enemy deaths
  • The final fatal event

The purpose is not to assign blame. It is to help answer:

What changed, what options existed, and what can I recognize sooner next time?

Fully Customizable

Azeroth Instinct works immediately with sensible defaults, while offering extensive presentation controls:
