Azeroth Hearts

A dating sim for the NPCs of Azeroth. Flirt with Sylvanas in the Royal Quarter, share a quiet evening with Thrall away from the Warchief's throne, or go fishing with Tirion Fordring. Eighteen romances, hundreds of conversations, cinematic dates and a phone full of texts, calls and selfies, all inside the game you already play.

Runs on WoW Forever, Classic Era (including Hardcore) and the Anniversary realms.

Who you can date

Horde: Lady Sylvanas Windrunner, Thrall, Vol'jin, Rexxar, Varimathras, Magatha Grimtotem, Innkeeper Gryshka, and Sumi & Tumi, the Steelfury sisters (date both at once).

Alliance: Lady Jaina Proudmoore, Tyrande Whisperwind, Lady Katrana Prestor, Highlord Bolvar Fordragon, King Magni Bronzebeard, Princess Moira Bronzebeard, Arch Druid Fandral Staghelm, Tirion Fordring and Innkeeper Firebrew.

Everyone: the Innkeepers' Guild. Any innkeeper, anywhere. They share one relationship, because they gossip.

Pick who you're interested in: men, women or both. Your character's gender is recognised, so same-sex and opposite-sex romance both work everywhere.

How it works

• Find them in the world. Target a romance and click the heart by their portrait. Each one has a daily schedule, so you might find Rexxar on the Desolace road or Jaina in her study.
• Talk. Three conversations a day. They remember your answers and bring them up later. Each day brings a new mood that changes how your words land.
• Win them over. Give gifts from your bags, use emotes, run their errands and keep showing up. Stay away too long and they'll give you the cold shoulder.
• Grow closer. Go from Stranger to Acquaintance, Confidant, Crush, Sweetheart and finally Soulbound.

Dates that feel like cutscenes

At each new level you're invited somewhere: Sen'jin by night, the Pools of Vision, the canals of Stormwind. Go there and the scene plays over the real world. The interface fades, black bars slide in, and you stand face to face. Every date ends with a photo of the two of you for your Journal.

Your phone

They text you, call you, send selfies from wherever they are, and ask for favours while you quest.

• Start on a gnomish flip phone and upgrade as your love life grows: the Ironforge Smartphone, then the two-screen Dalaran Fold.
• Collect phone cases by reaching goals: your first date, keepsakes, errands, a holiday together, love across faction lines.
• Selfies pose to match the moment, and get warmer the closer you get.

• Whispers: they react to your deaths, boss kills, quests and the places you go.
• They notice you: your outfit (a Scarlet tabard in the Undercity is a bad idea), your race, your class, the time of day.
• Holidays: special scenes for Hallow's End, Love is in the Air and the Feast of Winter Veil.
• The Journal: keepsakes, replays of every date, your photos, gift notes and gossip.
• The Little Black Book: /flirt with any NPC in the world. Charm the guards, sweet-talk the flight master, get slapped by the banker.
• Realm gossip: the Innkeepers' Newsletter shares milestones from everyone on your realm with the addon.
• Hardcore: if your character dies for good, she says goodbye.
• Combat-safe: nothing pops up in combat or dungeons, and scenes pause safely if you're attacked.

Getting started

Install, restart the game, then target any romance (or click the minimap button) and say hello. Type /hearts for a list of commands and /hearts config for settings.
