Description
Azeroth Angler Museum turns fishing into a long-term collection. Every catch is recorded automatically into a permanent, account-wide museum: the species you discover, the waters you fish, the characters who fished them, and the story of your fishing career. It is not a fishing helper: it never casts, loots or changes anything for you. It remembers.
Features
- A collection to fill: a grid of exhibits with silhouettes for the ones you have not found, and a small celebration when you discover one (full, compact, chat line only, or off).
- Exhibit pages: when you first found it, where, your fishing skill, which character, how many you have caught, your waters, a favourite flag and a personal note.
- A journal: your fishing sessions by day, new discoveries, personal records, and a timeline of every first. It has three sub-tabs: Sessions, Firsts timeline and Derby Hall, which remembers every Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza you fish (your Tastyfish count, best time to the target and past derbies).
- A wanted board: pin up to three exhibits you are hunting and see how many catches and how much time you have put in. When one finally drops, the toast tells you what it took.
- Day and season: exhibits show when you catch them (night, morning, afternoon, evening), and seasonal fish show a by-month strip.
- An optional "this water" panel (off by default, /museum water on) shows how much of the water's collection you have found while you fish. Collection progress only, never spot advice.
- Trophies, a record book and Your Year in Fishing.
- A map of your fishing grounds: a soft glow on the world map where you actually fish.
- Per-water progress and hints on undiscovered exhibits showing where they can be fished
- Curiosities and junk count too: chests, crates, clams, weight-variant fish and the odd old skull.
- Uncatalogued finds are never lost: anything new you pull from the water is kept and can be exported.
- Back up your whole museum as text with /museum backup, and restore it with /museum restore. A quiet reminder (once per login, can be switched off) nudges you if it has been a month and 500 catches since your last backup.
