AutoRun Stuck Alert

Never come back from AFK to find your character running into a wall for 10 minutes.

AutoRun Stuck Alert plays a sound alarm when you get stuck against a wall, tree or rock while autorunning, and when you get attacked while AFK. Turn on autorun, go grab a coffee, and the addon will call you back the moment something goes wrong.

Perfect for long trips on foot in Classic Era and Hardcore, where autorunning into a pack of mobs while AFK can cost you your character.

Features

• Stuck alarm: a sound, a taskbar flash and an on-screen warning when you stop making progress while autorunning.
• Smart detection: it doesn't just check whether you're standing still. It compares how far you actually advanced with how far you should have gone, so it also catches your character jittering sideways or sliding slowly along a wall. Works on foot, mounted and flying.
• Combat alarm: a different sound if something attacks you while autorunning.
• Works while minimized: flashes the game icon in the taskbar and can enable the game's background sound option for you.
• Clears itself: the warning disappears as soon as you start moving again.
• Lightweight: only runs while autorun is on. No libraries, no dependencies.

Limitations

• Open world only. The game doesn't give addons your position inside dungeons, raids, battlegrounds or arenas, so the stuck alarm is disabled there. The combat alarm still works.
• It can't unstick you. Blizzard doesn't allow addons to move your character, so it can only warn you.
• Sound while minimized requires the game's "Sound in Background" option. Turn it on in the settings window or with /stuck bg.
