Description

AutoAmen helps paladins organise blessings in World of Warcraft: Forever. It works out who should cast each blessing based on player roles, preferences, and the spells each paladin knows.

The aim is simple: less time sorting out buffs before a pull.

One button to buff

Click the buff button or use a keybinding to cast your next assigned blessing. Each press attempts one cast without changing your target.

The button shows how many casts you have left. Once your buffs are done, it becomes inactive until someone needs a buff again. Casting through AutoAmen pauses during combat.

Party and raid assignments

Parties use a simple player list. Raids get an overview of all 40 players, arranged in their eight raid groups.

You can see roles, assigned blessings, and missing buffs at a glance. Click a player to change their settings, or search for them by name.

AutoAmen also:

  • Uses Greater Blessings and individual corrections when that saves casts.
  • Recognises players marked Main Tank in the raid window.
  • Lets authorised paladins adjust assignments and priorities.
  • Supports leadership handoffs and voting when no paladin has raid leader or assist.
  • Remembers eligible guildmates’ blessing preferences between raids.

Players can request their own buffs

Other players don't need the addon. They can type a request in chat, such as:

!amen bok bow bom

This asks for Kings, Wisdom, and Might, in that order. AutoAmen fits the request into the available assignments while respecting role rules and paladin assignment locks.

Other useful commands:

  • !amen role tank to declare your role.
  • !amen status to check your priorities and assignments.
  • !amen reset to clear your personal settings.
  • !amen help for instructions.

Salvation for a tank playing DPS

A tank can keep their Main Tank flag and type !amen bosal when they need Salvation for a particular fight.

The paladin supplying their lowest-priority active blessing gets a message and can cast Salvation using their usual buff button.

When Salvation is removed, expires, or the tank dies, normal assignments return. A confirmed wipe also clears the request. The tank must request Salvation again for the next attempt.

Getting started

All paladins taking part in the assignments need AutoAmen. Buff recipients don't.

Type /amen to open the settings and assignments. To bind the buff button, look for Cast next assigned blessing under Keybindings > AutoAmen.

The addon is still being developed and tested. If something goes wrong, please report what happened, your addon version and client build, and any Lua error you received.
