Auto Vendor Buy

Vendor Auto-Buy is a powerful quality-of-life addon designed to save you countless clicks and time at any vendor. It's especially useful during special events like WoW Remix where you need to purchase a large number of cosmetic items, mounts, and toys.

The addon intelligently scans a vendor's inventory and determines which items you can afford and which ones you still need to collect. It automatically skips toys, pets, mounts, and recipes that you have already learned, ensuring you only spend your currency on new additions to your collection.

With a single click, you can initiate a process to buy every available item you don't own, or you can enable an "auto-prompt" feature that presents you with the option to buy everything the moment you open a vendor window.

Key Features

• One-Click Purchase: Adds a "Buy All Items" button to the merchant window, allowing you to purchase all missing, affordable items in one go.

• Smart Filtering: Automatically checks your collections and skills to avoid buying duplicates. It will skip:

  • Toys you have already collected.

  • Pets you already own.

  • Mounts already in your journal.

  • Recipes and spells that are "already known".

• Cost Summary: Before purchasing, a confirmation window appears detailing the number of items to be bought and the total cost in Gold and any other required currencies (like Legion Remix's Bronze).

• Auto-Prompt Mode: For ultimate convenience, you can enable an auto-prompt that automatically shows the "Buy All" confirmation when you open a vendor. This is enabled by default in Remix timelines.

• Safe and Controllable: The process can be cancelled at any time by clicking the "Cancel Auto-Buy" button or by simply closing the vendor window.

• Remix-Ready: Designed with Timewalking Remix events in mind, making the process of spending Bronze on dozens of collectibles effortless.

How to Use the Addon

Using Vendor Auto-Buy is simple and intuitive.

1. Basic Usage (Button Mode)

1. Approach any vendor in the game and open the merchant window.

2. You will see a new button labeled "Buy All Items" located at the bottom right of the vendor frame.

3. Click this button.

4. A confirmation pop-up will appear, showing you how many items the addon is about to purchase and the total cost.

5. Click the "Buy All" button on the pop-up to begin the automated purchasing sequence.

6. The addon will then quickly purchase each item one by one. You will see confirmation messages in your chat window for each item bought.

7. If you wish to stop the process, you can click the button again, which will now be labeled "Cancel Auto-Buy".

2. Auto-Prompt Mode

When you first open a vendor outside of a Remix event, the addon will ask if you want to enable the auto-prompt feature.

• Enable Auto-Prompt: If you choose this, the confirmation pop-up (from step 4 above) will appear automatically every time you open a vendor, saving you the step of clicking the "Buy All Items" button.

• Use Button Only: If you decline, the addon will function as described in the "Basic Usage" section, and you will need to manually click the button to start the process.

Note: In a Remix timeline (like Legion Remix), the auto-prompt feature is enabled by default for maximum efficiency.

Available Commands:

• /vab toggle or /vab

  • Toggles the auto-prompt feature on or off.

• /vab on or /vab enable

  • Explicitly enables the auto-prompt feature.

• /vab off or /vab disable

  • Explicitly disables the auto-prompt feature, requiring you to use the button.

• /vab help

  • Displays a list of available commands in the chat window.
