You know how the option "Automatic Quest Tracking" doesn't really work? It just (temporarily) adds a quest to the tracker when you progress one of the objectives, but it doesn't automatically track newly accepted quests. This extremely simple AddOn does exactly that. When you pick up a quest, it automatically tracks it under the minimap. That's it!
is there a command to config this addon? I moved the quest list by accident from my screen and I cannot get it back, even after deleting and reinstalling
In reply to Forge_User_74672953:
The only setting (type /atq) controls when and how quests are tracked but it doesn't move the quest tracker at all. One of your other AddOns must be responsible for it! :(

I found out which addon is causing this addon not to work, it's Questie. So I rather have Questie that shows quests and targets on my map than a list with quests. Too bad I cant have both
This does not work for me. I am still having to manually track quests. Any idea why?
In reply to QueenGodiva:
I don't know if it's working right either, seems quests tracked go away after 5min and I'm seeing it bug and not able to track quests when I shift click a quest until I do a /reload.
I'm turning it off for now and see if the bug where I'm unable to shift click and track quests still happens... will post back with my findings
In reply to Hyattmeister:
Oh dear, I noticed sometimes manual tracking was broken in some cases when I was testing but I couldn't reliably get it to happen so I was hoping it was just an isolated issue that only happened when I was deliberately trying to break it. I'll see if I can figure something out. Also, tracked quests do still get auto-untracked, even when tracking them with no time limit set; I'll see if there's a workaround for that too.
In addon area saying it is out of date?
Thanks for the addon!

In your World of Warcraft folder under _classic_/Interface/Addons/AutoTrackQuests look for AutoTrackQuests.toc and change the first line from :
## Interface: 80200
to
## Interface: 11302
Save and reload your game.
Amazing, simple, works perfect. Thank you so much.
