v4.5.3
What's new
4.5.3
- Fixed another secret-value error, this time in the Recruit channel list while in an instance: the Clubs API hands back secret club and stream names there, and comparing one to "" threw. Community channels now show as "Community <id>" instead of crashing when their real name isn't readable; posting to them is unaffected either way.
4.5.2
- The button on the guild window now sits below Blizzard's own vertical tab strip instead of behind the Chat and Roster tabs, and renders on top so it is clickable.
4.5.1
- Fixed an error storm on this client. Whisper and system chat text is
now handed to addons as a protected value while the client's chat
lockdown is active, and reading it threw an error every time. The
addon now detects that state and pauses the phrase trigger instead,
with a one-line notice, and no longer parses the guild-join system
message at all (new members are picked up from the roster). The queue,
Scout, recruitment and
/agi testall keep working through it.
Auto Guild Invite 4.5.0
Set a phrase, and whispers that contain it become guild invites you send
with one keypress. This is the whole thing: the review queue, a
recruitment broadcaster, a /who scout for guildless players, and the
safeguards that keep it from spamming or mass-inviting.
Get started in a minute
- Log in, then type
/agito open the window. - On the Settings tab, set your trigger phrase (default
!guild) and choose a mode:- Hold in queue - requests wait on the Queue tab until you click Invite.
- Pop a one-click dialog - an Accept / Skip prompt appears the moment a request arrives.
- Done. When someone whispers you the phrase, handle it from the Queue tab or the popup.
Try /agi test Yourname to push a fake request through the whole
pipeline while you set things up.
Bringing people in
- Recruit tab - write a message or two, tick the channels to post to (Guild, Party, Raid, and any chat channel you have joined), then hit Post now or turn on the timer (six minute minimum, jitter, a stop-after count).
- Scout tab - pick a zone, class and race, hit Scan now, and every guildless player it finds gets a one-click Whisper (your template) and a one-click Invite.
Things worth knowing
- There is no fully silent auto-invite. The client only sends a guild invite from a real button press, so one keypress per person is as close as the game allows.
- The client will not let an addon post to Trade or General; use the Copy button and paste those yourself. Community channels, Say and Yell post only from Post now, never the auto timer.
- After you invite a name, Scout will not offer to invite it again for seven days (configurable). A whisper request always goes through.
- Anti-abuse is on by default: a per-name cooldown, one invite every two seconds at most, a queue cap, a personal block list, and a check that you are in a guild with invite permission.
- Whispering strangers from Scout can get you reported. Send sparingly.
Also included
- Any number of trigger phrases, each set to invite, pitch
(whisper a reply, no invite) or apply (queue for review only).
%guild%,%name%and%phrase%are filled in. - Queue rows show the sender's class and race, cross-realm and friend tags, and the whisper text on hover.
- A welcome sequence: greet new members in guild chat and send timed follow-up whispers.
- Conditions that hold the one-click dialog (in combat, rated PvP, outside set hours, guild at a target size) and a do-not-disturb switch.
- Stats and a fifty-entry activity log you can copy out as text.
- Open it from
/agi, the minimap button (left-click opens, right-click switches mode, shift-right-click toggles do-not-disturb), or the small button on the guild window.
